Tl* the contact owns a 2012 doge charger. after the contact parked the vehicle in the driveway, it began to roll away as the contact exited the vehicle. the contact engaged the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. additionally, while shoveling snow, the vehicle moved backwards while the gear shifter was in park. the contact jumped in the vehicle and depressed the brake pedal. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the local dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the failure mileage was 109,919.

Had the air bag recall fixed but yet the air bag light still comes on all the time and and out of no where my car fills like the transmission is bout to go out it jerks when you press on the gas country roads and when stop it idles like it's trying to stall out

Front passenger window will stop when by its self when closing or using automatic closing. happens when vehicle is parked or in motion. differential bearings have been wearing down quickly.

I have filed a complaint in regards to the issue previously, but new information that mopar issued a campaign to recall the timing chain on over 50k vehicle for this issue but mopar refused to cover my timing chain due to my vehicle had to many miles and i am not the first owner. i find it completely unsafe to have a timing chain snap while driving at any speed. i was attempting to turn on a main street when this issue occured. please advise if anything further comes. i attached a copy of the previous recall on this issue

At about 75,000 miles, the vehicle would lose power while i was drivng then surge and lunge forward. at that point my check engine light came on. scared the daylights out of me. it happened when i was on the 10 freeway coming home. i have taken the vehicle to two mechanics. the torque converter is stuck closed. i was told by both mechanics that i need a new transmission? it's the torque converter. it is a hazard for the car to surge and lunge; can cause a serious accident! how can i need a new transmission when it started @ 72,000 miles. bad parts. please review this problem. i need help!!!!! please consider and review. i cant afford a new transmission.!!! it just doesnt seem logical. Sealed transmission makes it very difficult to adjust fluid levels that can keep transmission from freezing and locking up. currently my vehicle has a horrible burning smell coming from the transmission and shifting is becoming irradic with can cause traffic issues. it occurs mostly in town driving after stopping for extended periods of time (street lights). recently the check engine light came on with the p0208 code.

While in motion on a city street, vehicle displayed warning lights and stalled. was able to pull off into a parking lot where the gear shift was locked in park position. had vehicle towed to mechanic who advised that the timing chain had locked up. i am aware that there was a customer satisfaction notification sent out by chrysler, but when i inquired about it at my local dealership they said that my vehicle didn't fall under that notification.

Tl* the contact owns a 2012 dodge charger. while driving 40 mph, the vehicle stalled and the power steering warning indicator illuminated. the vehicle did not restart during the first attempt. the contact allowed the vehicle to sit for awhile and then it restarted. the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 17v435000 (electrical system). the dealer (north point chrysler jeep dodge ram fiat, 7726 north point blvd, winston-salem, nc 27106) was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to schedule an appointment. the contact did not schedule an appointment due to the diagnostic fee. in addition, the contact stated that the vehicle would not shut off. the contact had to remove the battery in order to shut off the vehicle. also, the gear shifter failed. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

Tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2012 dodge charger. while driving approximately 35 mph, there was a sudden loss of power and the vehicle veered to the right. the vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed. the brake pedal was applied with force, but the brakes failed to respond. as a result, the contact crashed on the side of the road. the driver sustained injuries to the head, back, arm, chest, and was unconscious. the contact was transported to the hospital by ambulance for medical attention. a police report was filed. the contact stated that the air bags failed to deploy and was uncertain as to which failure may or may not have been related to the collision. the dealer (ganas auto southgate, 4730 firestone blvd, southgate, ca 90280, 323-364-5004) failed to inform the contact, at the time of purchase, that the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign numbers: 16v043000 (structure), 16v240000 (power train), 15v467000 (air bags and seat belts), and 16v352000 (air bags). the vehicle was towed to a tow yard and then towed to the same dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failures and the crash. the contact was ...

Vehicle electronics started to shut off while driving and would not accelerate car then turned off and shifted to park on its own in the middle of the street. car would not turn on with out a jump start when disconnected would not shift and would not idle right before shutting off

Tl* the contact owns a 2012 dodge charger. the contact stated that the vehicle stalled without warning, while driving at approximately 35 mph. in addition, the speedometer failed to provide the accurate readings and all the warning lights on the instrument panel illuminated. the contact coasted into a serviced station while the steering wheel became difficult to maneuver. in addition, the vehicle failed to turn off and the gear shift failed to come out of drive. the contact used the park brake and the engine stalled. the vehicle was taken to haley chrysler dodge dealer, located on 5400 s laburnum ave, richmond va 23231, phone number: (804) 663-5337, where it was rejected to be serviced due to the remedy part needed for the repair not being available. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign numbers: 16v240000 (power train) and 17v435000 (electrical system). the contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. the manufacturer was contacted and made aware of the failure and informed the contact to have the vehicle repaired at his expense and did not offer further assistance. the approximate failure mileage was 78,000. part ...

I was driving on the highway when the car sound like i had a flat tire . got out there was no flat tires. kept driving and the car shut off at the light . started again and died on the street with no warning . got the car towed to dodge of pembroke pines florida . they don't know what's wrong . first they said the pcm got messed i by the altanator then got a call saying that's not the problem . never heard back from dodge since friday , it's monday now . i could have died if the car cut off on me on the highway . i keep up with the service and the car died . they say the battery is good . while driving the wipers came on and threw me 10 different codes then turned off.

Tl* the contact owns a 2012 dodge charger. while driving various speeds, the vehicle was unable to shift gears and the check engine indicator illuminated. the contact was an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the rear passenger and driver speed sensors failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 39,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2012 dodge charger. while attempting to park the vehicle, it failed to shift into park. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission electronic shift lever failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue and stated that the vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v240000 (power train). the manufacturer instructed the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer. the vehicle was towed back to the dealer where a diagnostic test was performed. the dealer diagnosed that an exposed live wire underneath the front passenger air bag was causing the failure and needed to be repaired. the vehicle was taken to the dealer a third time to conduct the repair, but the dealer diagnosed that the abs failed and needed to be repaired. the contact was later informed that the wire was not the cause of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the contact spoke to the manufacturer five more times, but the manufacturer stated that the dealer should repair the vehicle, the dealer was giving the contact "the run-around", and that ...

Note: i have a recording of the incident to provide if needed. i were driving turning a corner and the vehicle just stalled. a ford explorer hopped the curb in order to avoid hitting me at approx. 35-40 mph. i recently had the alternator replaced and within the past 10 days i had a diagnostic done alongside an oilchange. i looked up my vehicle saw that others had a similar incident and saw that dodge has a recall for my year model for my exact current issue and i were informed that my car was not listed in the recall. i said for sure this incidence is not a coincidence and possibly my car or others could have been overlooked but who should i reach out to to clarify. the response, noone. you are stuck with a transmission issue even though we have a recall out. then i were asked if for only $130 bucks an hour would i like to go ahead and check it in. this incident happened for the first time on a road 5 days ago. i have not driven my car since i parked it that day and are quite frankly afraid as i travel ...
