We have classified the 2 complaints from 2006 Dodge Caravan about VISIBILITY into the following categories.
I own a 2006 dodge caravan and about a month ago i noticed a problem when i use my turn signals. sometimes they work fine, sometimes not at all, and sometimes the opposite blinker will turn on (ex: i use the right blinker but the left blinker come on and vise versa). this has been happening pretty much everyday since it first started. a couple of days ago when i started the car i noticed the airbag light stayed on and the passenger airbag off light on the dash stayed lit. this was very concerning because i don't know if that means the airbag is malfunctioning and won't work in an accident. i decided to do some online searching for these type of problems concerning the dodge caravans and realized that hundreds and hundreds of people were experiencing the same exact problems i am having. this is a huge safety concern because this is primarily my wife's car in which we carry our 3 children. from what i hear from other people experiencing the same issues is that this is related to a wind shield wiper problem as well. this has not yet happened to my car but i am sure it will probably start soon. if so many people are having the same problems i don't understand why there has not been a recall on this problem. *tr

I had purchased a 2006 dodge sxt caravan, the end of sept, 2006. in feb during the snow and ice i had notice a crack in the cowl. the ice had frozen underneath and completely damaded the cowl. the dealer failed to get back to me, after a month i called they just stated they refuse to replace this saying "it was damaged due to external force" though there was no external force? this is cheap thin flexible plastic that should have not cracked completely across this cowl, now. please help. any water entering on the windshield does not hold from the loose molding and broken cowl around the front windshield, this is continuing to get worse. i also have a crack in the sliding glass window left side door. *tr
Soon after temperatures went below freezing, the blower fan stopped working in my vehicle. therefore, sufficient heat could not be brought through vehicle to warm passengers, defrost windows, and most dangerously, keep windows from fogging up while driving. at first the dealership replaced the resistor switch - but 2 days later it happened again, today they replaced the blower motor and i have yet to see if it will continue to be a problem. they suggested a defect where moisture may be getting inside the blower motor & freezing, causing it to burn out. *jb

We were on our way back from tennessee, it was raining very hard, and the windshield wipers just stopped suddenly. i could hear a winning noise coming from them. we had to pull over to the side of a very busy highway and sit there because we could not see at all to drive. we were in a very dangerous situation so i called the jellico tennessee police department and they were on their way to sit with us until the rain stopped and there was a bad wreck in front of us and they all had to go there. fortunately, we were all ok and the wipers were fixed. there were no warning signs to let us know there was a problem with the wipers before hand. *jb
