Tire cracking and tread separation on tourmax gft sold by eldorado. its not in your list. poor wear characteristics. i took my car in to an alignment shop because it was pulling toward the center of the road. i was informed that a near new tire had stress cracks and tread separation and the alignment and inflation pressure was ok.two more of the same tires on the same car were wearing unusually fast with no alignment issues. i feel these tires have the potential to be unsafe. the tourmax gft from eldorado has not instilled safety confidence.
Driving 2005 dodge grand caravan on highway at posted 55 mph, bang sound under van, pulled over within 10th of mile, spare tire had come loose, was trapped under van, spare tire appears to never have been used, raised van up with a large rock placed under front wheel, drove up rock and with the decline of highway allowed van to come up high enough then pulled spare tire out, wife burned arm on exhaust pipe when pulling tire out, have not had spare tire placed back under van or inspected as of yet. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 dodge caravan with pep boys definity ex600/p215/70r15 tires. the top layer on all four of the tires are peeling off. the tires was taken back to pep boys . she was advised that they would prorate the price because there are recalls no recalls on the tires pep boys definity ex600/p215/70r15 but on other models.
I own a 2005 dodge grand caravan that has the tire pressure sensors on each wheel. on february 28th i drove to work, about 12 miles. it was a snowy day and i pulled into my parking lot and parked the van where i always do. about 15 minutes later, about 8:00am, my son came to work and upon entering our store said that i had a flat tire on my front driver's side tire. he said he got out of his car and watched as the tire went flat. the valve stem cap had snapped off right at the bottom of the threads. my dealer put a rubber stem in it's place. the replacement is on back order along with thousands of others!!! i have the broken part as i found it a few weeks later after the snow melted away. *tr
On may 24, 2006,i got a flat tire. i removed the spare tire to put on the van. then i wound the part that holds the spare time back up. after replacing the tire, i wanted to put the spare back underneath. the bottom piece would not release. it was taken to the dealership and they fixed. they did not say how it was fixed. they said it would be fine. then this week, i got another flat tire. i again removed the spare and put it on the van. i wound the part that holds the spare tire. after replacing the tire, i wanted to put the tire back underneath. again, the part that holds the spare tire will not release and i have to take it back to the dealership to get repaired. *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 dodge caravan. the contact stated that the vehicle failed inspection because the front tire rods are damaged. the manufacturer stated that they would take care of the front tire rods, however, they are denying that the tire rods can cause tire damage. the engine size was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 21,918.
