We have classified the 2 complaints from 2004 Dodge Caravan about VISIBILITY into the following categories.
When driving down the interstate at 60mph the windshield wipers turned on all by themselves and would not shut off even when we stopped and turned the van conpletely off they were still going. everything was positioned on off there was no power on in the van at all. *tr
Closed all doors using the key fob and went to church. the rear sliding passenger door would not open with the key fob. got inside the vehicle and you can not manually pull the lever up. this is a safety hazard. it appears the passenger door is beginning to malfunction also. key fob won't open it, but you can open manually. tires wear out quickly in the front. i also lost a tail light on the highway. it just separated from the vehicle. i have noticed the same thing beginning to happen to the other tail light. dodge is making a killing on these. they are approximately 113 dollars!!! now my air conditioner has cold air , but not blowing. *tr
Twice in the past 7 years, the rear window of my 1994 dodge caravan exploded while driving down the road. my research on the web shows that the nhtsa has a finding against chrysler on this and chrysler was supposed to have replaced all of it's stock of inferior glass. evidentally, this wasn't done or they still have a problem. neither i nor my insurance company should have to pay for this type of problem.*ak the shear noise of this breakage could easily cause a reaction by the driver that could result in an accident.
