When driving down the road at 25 mph the drivers seat all of sudden fell back (the top seat) and wont stay up in position. it seems that it is faulty due to a mechanism not being attach correctly. i have not been able to get the seat fixed due to high costs. also the rear chassis brake tube seem to rust extremely and create itself a hole.

We were recently rear-ended by another vehicle twice, and both front seats completely broke, and causes serious injuries to rider (tramatic concussion, head and neck injuries), injury to drivers back, neck & head....riderside also received terrible twitching in right hand and arm, and loss of use of right leg...this is a serious defect for front seats...they completely broke after throwing us backwards....the drivers seat could not be removed off of second seat...it was stuck in reclinging position! if our children had been in the car with us, it would have caused serious injuries to their legs, probably would have crushed them!!! also, our insurance company only wants to give us used seats from another crash and put our material over them and install them into our van!! this is toitally rediculous!!! ifg ours broke, then another vans seats could also be weakend by a crash, and then we could possible be killed if we should ever be struck again!!!! we want to file a formal complaint to all parties involved with the dodge front seats!!!*ak
In a recent rear-end accident, the back of the driver and passenger seats collapsed allowing me to be thrown backward from my seat although i was wearing my seat belt. i received many cuts, bruises and abrasions to my left hand that required 64 stitches, and the repair of 2 lacerated tendons. i also received several scratches on and near my left elbow. my son received a sprained right wrist, bruised stomach, sore neck and back. i have had trouble sleeping and continue to have vivid memories of the accident. i have had no use of my left hand and am in continuous pain, unless i'm heavily medicated. i have been unable to bathe, dress, wash my hair, or prepare meals and perform other household duties without help. i am currently using my father's car because my caravan was my only means of transportation.*ak
