Ii took my car in to have the tires rotated and i was told i need new tires. my tires have only 20k miles and a 60k mile warranty. the tire shop called falken was given the run around for over a week by the manufacturer. i consulted online forums and checked w/ several tire shops and was told that the falken ziex 912's had wear problems and that falken had cut the warranty to 40k miles and they wouldn't sell them. consumer reports highly recommended them in 2010 which is why i bought them. many people online only had them last a few months and one lady i recall 6 months and all got no held or relief from falken. why weren't these recalled and pulled from sale? falken told the dealer i would need to buy new tires and then they'd consider maybe reimbursing me a small amount. i am disabled on a fixed income and cannot do this and i do not trust falken or their brand. i need tires for my car now and don't know what to do.
