There was a recall that began on january 28, 2011 for bad ball joints. i bought the car in dec 2010 in between recalls 2009 -2011. never got a recall notice for this. on november 16 th 2012 my ball joint broke my car went out of control almost hit two phone poles had my family in the car. likely we were not hurt or killed. chrysler needs to step up and fix my car for putting bad ball joints on it . this is not the first time there was a recall on this in 2001-2009-2011 can you please help me to have chrysler fix my car. *tr

There a recall on 10-13-2009 for bad ball joints. i bought the car in 12-2010 never got a recall notice on ball joints. on nov-16-2012-we were driving with my 9 yr old and 10 year old with no warning the ball joint broke on driver side wheel . car went out of control we almost hit two phone poles the car went into a field. the wheel is now hanging off car not driveable. nobody was hurt it could of been worse. will chrysler still have honor this recall to fix my car being the recall was 3 yrs ago if i knew there was a recall i would of had this fix. *tr

Yes i , have a 2000 chrysler sebring and i bought it when it had 20,000 miles on it and have had several issues that concern me about driving the car. the steering wheel has shorts in it to where most of the time the horn and other stuff don't work on it. the second issue is that the passenger airbag is about to pop it has came out alot and at any time the airbag can pop. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2000 chrysler sebring. while driving between 45-50 mph, the contact heard a loud rattling noise coming from the front end of the vehicle. unexpectedly, the vehicle began to steer in one direction without assistance. the contact was required to exert greater force to turn the steering wheel. the vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and resumed normal operation. the vehicle was inspected and repaired by a certified mechanic, who stated that the failure was related to the tie rod ends. the tie rod ends were replaced on two separate occasions and recently failed. in addition, the contact heard a loud noise coming from the transmission when accelerating. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was 28,000 and current mileage was 65,700.

Tl* the contact owns a 2000 chrysler sebring. the contact stated that the driver and passenger windows became stuck closed. the window regulator failed and the contact was unable to open the windows. the steering wheel would also shock the contact intermittently when staring the vehicle. in addition, the contact stated that the air bags were visible through the dashboard. the contact stated that the air bags could independently deploy at any time and as a precaution, the front passenger seat was no longer being used. the vehicle was taken to the dealer thirteen times. the dealer advised that the vehicle was not under recall and any repairs would be at the contacts expense. the manufacturer would not provide any assistance. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 92,500.

Could not turn left, only right. diagnosed with broken gear in rack & pinion. entire rack & pinion needed to be replaced. *ak

Consumer was driving about 60 mph and lost control of vehicle, hitting another vehicle, and flipping off road. upon impact, neither air bag deployed.*ak
