Tl* the contact owns a 2007 chrysler pt cruiser. while driving approximately 35 mph, the check engine warning indicator illuminated and the engine stalled. the vehicle failed to restart after multiple attempts. in addition, all of the windows would not roll up or down and the rear driver side door lock would not lock. the vehicle was towed to the dealer who stated that the cam shaft position sensor, lower arm bushings, sway bar link, and window motors needed to be replaced. the engine and windows were repaired and the manufacturer was not notified. the approximate failure mileage was 32,212. updated 09/15/14*lj the consumer sstated the camsensor and motor stalled. the bushings were worn out at only 3200 miles. the windows went out in 2011 and the back door and locks weren't working. updated 1/8/2015 *js

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 chrysler pt cruiser. the contact was traveling 70 mph when the rear passenger side quarter glass window came out. the contact spoke with the manufacturer and found there was a recall on the 2005-2006 model year, but not on his model year, even though the vehicle was manufactured in 2006. the recall campaign number was 07v149000 and it was for visibility, because the rear quarter glass window can come loose from the vehicle. the vehicle had not been repaired. the failure mileage and current mileages was 62000. updated 12/03/10. *lj updated 1/25/11 *cn updated 02/07/11*jb

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 chrysler pt cruiser. the contact stated that while driving over a bump, the rear drivers side window fell down into the door panel. the contact was unable to bring the window back up once it fell down into the door panel. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who diagnosed that the window regulator motor was defective and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the failure occurred a second time two years later. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was out of warranty. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 17,271 and the current mileage is 18,000. updated 01/03/12*lj updated 01/04/12
