We are being treated in a very uncaring, racist, discriminatory way by the general manager dan hamrick 702-432-2401, at #lasvegas chapman dodge #chrysler' @vegasdcj 3175 east sahara las vegas nv 89104. he has consistently refused to see us. he has never returned our calls. i was even threatened with great bodily harm by the service manager mike nicosia. i made a police report. we took our beautiful pt cruiser into las vegas #chapman dodge chrysler on 10-13-17 because the #engine light was staying on. they installed an expensive 'defective' chrysler #mopar totally integrated power module (tipm) and an expensive 'defective' mopar chrysler power train control module (pcm). between 10-13-17 to 11-21-17 (approximately one month) i had to return my chrysler for repairs five (5) times & they installed three (3) pcms & two (2) tipms which were no good!!! my car's engine light came on again on 12-11-17 and my car accelerated by itself, and we crashed!!! this was only nineteen (19) days after my car's very last visit to las vegas chapman #dodge chrysler on 11-21-17. our car sustained great body damage. it cannot be driven. thank father god no one was killed!!! we had no idea what happened until we read an article about chrysler's defective totally integrated power modules problems titled 'chrysler tipms causing power problems - updated october 15, 2016' chryslerproblems.com/trends/tipm/. amazing!!! that article led us to similar articles. these are the receipt orders (work orders) in chronological order: #6463649-1, #6464576-1, #6465489-1, #6467298-1, #6467796-1. the problems were never repaired and my car cannot be driven. i am charged a total of $5,836.75 for absolutely nothing!!! pease help me. thank you.

Car was rear ended and shoved into another car while waiting at a red light. front and rear end crushed, bumper came off, radiator and front end damage, windshield broken. air bag did not deploy.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pt cruiser. at various times, the hatchback door opened by itself and the door open warning light illuminated. the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 66,000.

Husband was getting off of an exit and hit a piece of equipment and the airbags did not come out front end of car was damaged including radiator hood fender transmission bumper skirting

Vehicle at 76,000 miles rides rough and during check up was found to have bad front bushings and three cracked engine mounts. two licensed mechanics advised that this should not be happening to a single owner, never mistreated vehicle at that mileage. this was caught prior to a potential safety incident. *tr

Driving 70 mph on freeway. rear quarter window detached from vehicle. there is an existing recall but only covers the model year before (2005). this is obviously an issue with the 2006 version as well. *tr

We were rear ended while on vacation. the car was drivable and it was put in the shop for repairs. the other person was at fault. when we got the car back we noticed that the airbag light would stay on for a minute or two and then go off. this continues to happen. the car repair shop checked seat belts and such. the air bags did not deploy as this was a rear end collision. i feel like this is a safety hazard. the repair shop has had to repair work that was not done right. could they have messed up the codes as the temp does not work right.? were the airbags damaged ? the estimated speed he hit us was 35mph. we both got cervical sprain and mine is worse. *tr

Stopped at a red light rear ended and pushed into vehicle in front of me front end and rear end damage air bags didnt deploy

I went in to the local chrysler dealership on saturday, january 21, 2012 for a routine oil change. i was told that i needed to replace an engine mount. i had to replace on in september of 2010 and i was quite shocked that i was faced with this repaid again. it was a different mount this time. so i asked the customer service representative why does this keep happening. i am 57 years old and in 40 years of driving i have never even heard about this happening to any one. i was told that there is somewhat of a design flaw in the pt cruiser and that this particular dealer performs 20 to 30 like repairs a week.. this means that there is a design flaw in this vehicle. i checked on line and sure enough, it appears that there hundreds of complaints about pt cruiser engine mounts. what can be done? it is not fair that chrysler can sell a product like this - knowing that there are issues - and keep raking in money for the repairs. shouldn't they be held to some kind of standard? this is a safety matter, for sure. it is a moral one as well. *tr

Faulty firewall. the firewall around the clutch master cylinder is twisting and splitting. this is a safety issue. if this can happen around the clutch, it can happen around the brakes. this needs to be looked at and fixed. *tr

2006 pt cruiser. defective motor mounts. i have been told i need to replace the motor mounts and the cv joints because the bad mounts caused the engine to shift and eat up the cv joints. i did online reviews of various cruiser forum and found hundreds of complaints about the cruiser's motor mounts. do not delay in investigating this and calling for a recall. people are refusing to by other chrysler products because of these problems...and discontinuing the model does not give them the right to ignore the need for recalls for current owners. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler pt cruiser. while the vehicle was parked the contact attempted to open the front drivers side door from the interior of the vehicle and was unable to. the contact was able to open the door by opening the window and then the door from the exterior. the failure also occurred on the front passenger side door and the rear driver and passenger side doors. the contact noticed a plastic piece on the door would over heat and cause the doors not to open from the interior. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing and the technician stated the door panel had to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

The dashboard of my 2006 pt cruiser is factory painted metallic silver, and i was constantly holding up my hand and covering the dash with cloth etc...to prevent it from blinding me while driving on sunny days. on a tuesday evening in august 2007 while entering onto a highway the evening sun glared off the right panel of the dash so brightly it blinded me and caused me to begin to have an immediate seizure type responce. my eyes were flashing with lights, then my right arm was tingling and went numb, the right side of my face went numb, my right temple began to throb horribly, and this lasted for one hour. i went to the dealership where i bought it and the service department didn't know what to do so i had to hand sand my entire dashboard with sandpaper and emory boards! it looks rediculous and it is insane that i must drive my new car this way. the lasting consequence has been a retinal burn that stays in the center of my vision at all times now. i am a professional artist and writer, so now and perhaps the rest of my life---i must look through this white swirl in the center of my eye. the same seizure happened a month ago while i was working in my computer as i must do daily for my job. this problem seems to be permenant and i want chysler to pay. i can hardly open my eyes outside now, and i live in a constant fear of these seizures hitting me any where and any time now. *tr

Driving at 65 mph on an interstate highway when a rear quarter window fell out, blowing backwards and striking the following car. the window in question was only glued to its framework, no screws or clips of any sort. a recall to secure the window permanently, using something besides glue, is the only way to correct the failure. *nm
