Problems with 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser STRUCTURE

Drivers side rear quarter window came off while traveling on highway.

I was on the freeway, and the road had a natural "bump" in it, causing a slight bit of lift with the vehicle, and the vehicle swayed from side to side, and i had to immediately slow down, and counter steer in order to keep it in my lane. i took it to my mechanic today, and the right lower motor mount is broken. i just replaced that same mount less then 6 months ago. my mechanic said they know of a cruiser that had 8 front right motor mounts replaced. there is an entire site on the internet dedicated to people who have had major issues with motor mounts going out over and over again on their cruisers. *tr

I was driving on the highway 75 mph, at some point the side rear window blew out , i heard the sound of a open window but could not figure out where it was coming from, i pulled over and noticed the window was gone. if there had been a motor cycle or another vehicle it could have caused an accident. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 chrysler pt cruiser convertible. the contact stated the fire wall ripped causing the clutch pedal to push through the fire wall. the contact stated the vehicle could not be driven due to the hole in the fire wall the contact did not take the vehicle to a dealer or mechanic. the contact did not notify the manufacturer of the failure. the failure mileage was 145,000.

I was driving down the highway and my rear right window flew off while going 55 mph. this is extremely unsafe! i had no idea the window was only glued on! i am curious if there are other people who have had this issue and what can be done. *tr

The 2005 chrysler pt cruiser has metallic-silver dash inserts around the instrument cluster and covering the passenger air bag compartment. when the sun is high in the sky the glare from the metallic-silver instrument panel is blinding. the glare is so bright it leaves spots in your eyes. the molded curves above the instruments seem to concentrate the sun??s energy. my wife is shorter and is able to adjust the top of the steering wheel to block the reflection. i am unable to do this and still handle the steering wheel comfortably. i placed electrical tape on the panel just above the center instrument to block the glare. *nm
