I was driving the crossfire one evening and it shut off in the middle of the street, i almost got rear ended. all of a sudden the engine shut off, the exterior and interior lights went off as well. the car rolled to a stop blocking all the traffic behind me. i tried to restart the engine and nothing happened, i had to have the car jump started, which took several attempts. i had no problems or indications that anything was wrong till this happened. mechanics have put in a new battery, a crank position sensor, and a cam position sensor on the car. it started once after that, ran for a few minutes then stopped. after that it won't start, even when being jumped. trying to get a ecm from the dealer. dealer said the cost is $2,700.00, and orders are pending until july 1, 2019 because of supplier change. plus there is a flashing charge of $147.00 to reset this item for the car. other internet users have reported having their cars suddenly stop running when driving on the highways also.

The headlights become very pitted and foggy and cause it hard to see while driving at night. *tr
