I have had constant issues with the control arms, tie rods, and the door handles are all broken. i had to replace my radiator twice now. i love my car, but i am highly disappointed with the costs that i have had with this car. the radiator issues have come while the car was in motion. my engine died without warning while i was driving. i never had any warnings prior to the motor blowing. i have regular maintenance done to my car, but a new engine, 2 radiators, tie rods, and control arm repairs/changes seem to be the continuum for my car. the door handles are cosmetic and have not been repaired. i have records from my dealership and another place i entrust with my vehicle.

I have had problems with my 2006 chrysler 300c door handles for quite some time now. after a year or two when i first purchased the vehicle, the back exterior (chrome) right door handle became partially detached. i had it repaired and since then, the very same door handle as well as the exterior door handle on the driver's side is partially detached. also, the handle on the passenger side is completely detached. this is a big problem. i bought my car brand new and i have had numerous problems with it. as pricey as this vehicle is, you would think that chrysler would use the best parts for their vehicles. there needs to be a recall on these handles. when i replaced it before, it cost about $200 and this is ridiculous. i should not have to pay to replace these handles when clearly there is an issue on their end. i also want to add that my car has stalled numerous times before after putting gas in it and the oil light would come on sometimes. my headlights also don't work properly. i have to keep the headlight knob in the auto position just for them to remain on otherwise the lights will blink on and off. so during the daytime, my headlights are on. i didn't have this issue until after i took my car for an oil change at the dealership. i absolutely hate to take my car to the dealership (hebert's town & country) because they never can seem to fix the problem or they end up creating one. *tr

Making a u-turn and my car cuts off, i hit the brakes immediately but still hit the curb with my wheels and passenger side bumper. please recall this gas tank issue. these cars are not safe!! they cut off at random times, unpredictable. *tr

Vehicle stalls at random. today i was driving 30-40 mph and my engine stalls and turns off. i was stuck in the middle of a busy intersection off a freeway ramp. where is the recalling on this? are they waiting for deaths? this has been an on going serious issue and needs to be resolved. this vehicle is very dangerous to drive! *tr

Door handle has broken twice. first, it broke on the front driver door. the, today, 05/06/14, it broke on the back passenger door. there is a small piece of plastic that has appear to crack and break causing the door handle to separate from the door. online forums report many users with this same issue. dodge has a door handle recall. chrysler and dodge are the same family. this car needs a recall on the door handle. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler 300c. the contact stated that driver side exterior door handle fractured from the vehicle. in addition, the headlights were inoperable. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where they advised the contact that the head lamp module needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not inspected for the exterior door handle failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 54,000. the vin was not available.

The hood feel on my head nearly knocking me out. the struts designed to keep it open failed to keep it open and it came crashing down. *tr

On may 6, 2010 reported to chrysler that the hood of my 2006 300c would not stay in a up right position. current mileage at time of report 32,000. when i first raised hood, it stayed up right for a moment and than came crashing down on my head. i raised hood again and found that hood would only stay in up right position for a moment and then crash down to the close position. the struts that hold hood up right have to be replaced and chrysler offer to replace for $50.00. i find this offer unacceptable. with only 32,000 miles on car, i figure hood is only open approx. 11 times for car maintenance. with hood crashing down sudden can cause serious injury to head, back, hands and other body parts. i consider this a very unsafe condition and a recall should be put in place and struts replaced at no charge to customer. *tr

Hood shocks/struts failure on 2006 chrysler 300c srt8. the two hood shocks failed to keep the hood open causing it to close without warning. i was preparing to jumpstart the vehicle and the hood slammed close with the cable connected. i will take the vehicle to chrysler for service. *tr

Outside door handle broke loose when i opened my car door on my 2006, chrysler 300c. all of my door handles are very loose. i should not have to pay out of pocket expense for this type of defect. *tr
