While parked in my drive way, about to leave for work, discovered the seat belt latch would not work. the internal mechanisms of the seat belt latch malfunctioned and would not allow the belt to be latched. personally disassembled the latch and discovered the spring had disengaged from the metal lock that catches the hole on the male end of the belt. because of this, some of the components had shifted around inside completely disabling the catching mechanism from moving. hadn't noticed any issues prior to the latch becoming inoperable. the latch that broke was on the drivers seat. found a used latch from a junk yard and replaced it. i currently am still in possession of the old seat belt latch.
