Tl*the contact owns a 2009 chrysler 300c. the contact stated that while driving 25 mph the brakes locked . the vehicle was towed to the dealer who stated that the abs system and the computer module were defective and needed to be replaced. the failure recurred while driving on the highway and the brakes locked when they were not engaged. the vehicle was towed to the same dealer who confirmed that there was a foreign substance in the brake fluid. the manufacturer advised him to have the insurance company analyze the brake fluid. the results of the test were negative stating that there was no measurable petroleum or moisture present. the manufacturer decided to open its own investigation and stated that they would contact him to notified of him of the steps that were taken. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and current mileage was 29,022.
