Heat is not coming out of right side vents, blowing cold air. took to dealer and they found an issue with the heater core and it needs to be replaced. there's a build up of brown sludge in the cooling system. car has 68000 miles on it. this will be the second replacement. last one was replaced at 37,000 miles.
The alternator keeps going out on my car. it's a 2013 chrysler 200 lx. i put 3 alternators in less than 5 months! a new battery as well! no one seems to know what's the problem. it has to be a re call. i see a lot of owners reporting things like this. please help!
Tl* the contact owns a 2016 chrysler 200. the contact stated while driving at approximately 55-60 mph the vehicle stalled without any warning. the contact attempted to restart the vehicle several times with police assistance however, the vehicle failed to start. the vehicle was towed to (all star dodge chrysler jeep located at 4600 canyon dr, amarillo, tx 79109) however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 58,000.
Tl* the contact owns a 2012 chrysler 200. while driving 35 mph the steering wheel ceased and the vehicle stalled. the contact was able to restart the vehicle after five minutes. while driving and making a left turn the vehicle stalled again. while attempting to start vehicle there was abnormal ticking noise detected. the abs and traction control warning lights were illuminated. additionally, the speedometer was inoperable. the local dealer was not contacted. the manufacturer was contacted but no further assistance was provided. the failure mileage was 114,000.
The car stalls and shuts down with no warning at all. has been in the shop for the last 3 weeks. it was bought used from drivetime in duluth georgia. i was told by national tire and battery that they were not going to touch when i took it there for repair, they recommend that i take it to a chrysler dealer, at that time it would randomly stall but would start back up so i went to work the next day and they car stalled again and got really sluggish i was able to make over to chrysler dealership in buford georgia. they said it needed a tire sensor after they put the tire sensor on it stalled out on them again so they then said it needed a abs modular once they installed the abs modular took it for a test drive and it stalled on them again then they said they found some loose wires near the transmission the fixed and the car was running. i had the car for 2 days and it stalled out again. drivetime then sent a tow truck over to take the car back to chrysler in buford now they are saying ...
On a return trip back home from store less than 2 miles from my house car stalled after turning onto a side street going only a few mph,engine cut off,radio was still on. was able to pull into the closest parking lot, "shift to p" comes up on dash, battery light comes on. i put the car into park. turn it off, tried to restart it and it struggled to turn over a few times before finally coming back on. stalled again pulling into my parking lot. next day i tried to go to the store again and same thing happened pulling into store and pulling into parking lot.... this happened a few months back, after an oil change it stopped, but this time i am not due for an oil change and oil level is fine.
Tl* the contact owns a 2016 chrysler 200. the contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle started to overheat. the vehicle was driven to new smyrna chrysler, 2555 state road 44, new smyrna beach, fl 32168, where it was determined that the vehicle had a blown head gasket. the contact was informed that the repairs would be an out of pocket expense. the contact mentioned that the engine was previously replaced by bennett chrysler, dodge, ram, 1491 hwy 40 east, kingsland, ga 31548, in october of 2019. the vehicle was not repaired a second time. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and a complaint was filed. the approximate failure mileage was 75,000.
My vehicle stalls when i slow down (1-5mph) or stop. when i'm idle the engine feels like it has no power and sometimes it feels as if it misfires. it stalls once a day. most common moments when it stalls is when i stop going up a hill.
The engine turned off while i was driving and the power steering quit working. the screen alerterted me to put the car into park. i put the car in park and was able to restart the engine.
The car has started to overheat and heater did not work but that has since started working on its own. now car overheated and when driving it sounds as if water or something is trying to go through pipe but maybe isnt also started to leak all coolant. and battery is being drained. had the car checked and replaced thermostat but that didnt fix issue.also when driving all lights on dash turned on and started to beep. was just arriving at a store and when i came out car did not turn on. had a tow truck come out and they jump started me and said something was draining my battery. also when pumping gas it constantly stops and you have to keep pressing handle or move it around.
