We have classified the 3 complaints from 2003 Chevrolet Venture about TIRES into the following categories.
Firestone tire had a inside sidewall bowout. model number fr680 size p215/70r15. *ak
Firestone tires fr680, 215/70r15. replaced the tires on the front of my vehicle at 25,000 miles due to severe flat spotting & steel chords showing. rear tires fine. chevy dealer confirmed no wheel alignment issues exist. the tires are defective and should be recalled, and should not be used as oem on chevy vehicles going forward. my front tires have been replaced with michelin with no wear issues, and no repairs being made in regards to alignments, etc.
Firestone tires fr680, 215/70r15, thesetires were replaced on the front of my vehicle at 2,500 miles, i now have 4,oo miles and the front tires are once again cupping, and flat spotting, i rely on this vehicle to transport my children , i want these tires recalled, and not used again. at the time the tires were replaced, the front end alignment was checked, no problems found..*ak
Problems with steering on 2003 chevrolet venture. *mr the steering became loose. the service dealer found the pump pressure was below specifications and called gm. gm recommended replacing the pump and gear assembly which was supposedly done. the problem did not improve the situation. gm refused to help the consumer. also during routine maintenance, a tire was found with a bulge. *scc *jb
Passenger front tire blew out causing vehicle to hit guardrail. *mr the consumer lost control, went off to the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. *scc *jb
