We have classified the 1 complaints from 2000 Chevrolet Venture about WHEELS into the following categories.
Bought 4 new goodyear viva 2 tires at walmart in approximately 2014 sometime. according to local tire shop they have 2014 date codes. van started developing a low speed wobble when driving. front l tire was low on pressure so took to a loca shop to have it checked thinking i just needed a patch. wrong! the shop discovered a tread separation on the inside sidewall! luckily i was not driving on the highway. after coming here and reading all the other almost identical complaints to me it looks like there is a trend of bulging/poor ride quality/blowouts and tread separation from these walmart goodyears. luckily i only made a 2 mile round trip from home to a friends and i was able to catch this before i had a blowout.
Dt: while driving at 60 to 70 mph, the wheel studs snapped in half. this resulted in the wheel assembly coming apart. there was a loss of vehicle control but no accident occurred. the vehicle was towed, and parts were replaced. the wheel assembly came apart because four of the five studs broke. *ak *nm
