2007 chevy uplander cv axle splines not long enough to fit all the way into hub splines cause shuddering from cv axle wobble. frequent clicking from changing gear to gear is a result of the cv axle spinning inside the hub (press brake and gas) the remedy for this problem of shuddering and stalling at when at a go from a stop is the replace cv axle with one that has a longer shaft with splines that actually extend through the hub so that the hub nut threads do not enter the hub bearing and the cv axle splines run all the way through. the wobbling on take off is from the axle not gripping inside the hub, sort of like a cradle as the hub does not completely grip the axle shaft. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet uplander. due to the amount of snow in the area, the contact had to drive through a lot of snowbanks. he lost control of the steering wheel because the vehicle shook uncontrollably. while driving through the snow banks, the snow impacts the inside of the aluminum rims. the dealer stated that the low profile tires caused the vehicle to shake. the only remedy would be to install a plate in the tires to prevent snow from entering the rim. the failure also throws all four tires out of balance. the dot number and manufacturer of the rims were unknown. the failure mileage was 16,724. updated 02-23-09 *bf updated 02/26/09. *jb updated 02/26/09. *jb
