I just purchased this vehicle 2 weeks ago from taylor chevrolet. it has already been in the dealership twice for some sensor issues that they knew about when it was sold to me and said they were going to fix when "a part came in" they never called so i had to contact them when the truck started having issues. this is where i have the biggest problem i almost lost my life today when a semi almost hit me while driving because the stabilitrak system completely went out which apparently is an issue on these trucks that is not being addressed. the control panel is displaying service stabilitrak and engine losing power. i lost a day of work so far and need my vehicle to maintain my bills and keep my job. this all happened one day after getting my truck back from being serviced

While moving the vehicle jerks as if something is going on with transmission. it has been checked and all is ok. check engine gives codes and then they disappear. the lights flicker inside and out. these symptoms come and go. several mechanics have checked out this vehicle and cant find anything wrong with vehicle. also took vehicle back to chevrolet. also the vehicle is being illegally monitored and tracked. this could be causing all issues with vehicle.

Stabilitrak/ traction control turns off suddenly while driving without reason. abs brakes light comes on in message center. vehicle suddenly loses power and engine idles rough. occurs suddenly without warning leaving driver/passengers stranded in dangerous roadways. vehicle only has 70,000 miles and is serviced regularly. vehicle was serviced two months ago for this problem, where an alignment temporarily fixed the problem. two months later, problem returned.

While driving , stopped at light. started to drive and abs trouble light comes on and the brakes lock up. i had to drive as if all my brakes where on , they heat up and smoke. parked in my driveway husband go out to check and trouble is gone. ack to normal . no trouble locked in as if nothing happened . dealer said can't do anything unless it is brought in with trouble. it's has been happening about once a month . almost got in accident . chevy. reds to address and fix this problem. there are a lot of other people on the internet stating the same problem. going to get rid of car if the problem can not be fix before i get in an accident with my kids. chevy should investigate the problem and create a recall to correct the problem before someone ends up getting killed from it . it is a huge safety issue and do not understand why nothing is being done about the problem.

The first occurrence happened 10/11/17 on i-40. my car started "jerking" and all of a sudden the car decelerated to approx 35 mph. the abs light came on. a ntfcn came on that all of my assists were off (parking, all wheel drive, traction control, stabilitrack). a ntc also appeared that said to service stabilitrak. when i go to press my brake there is a noise in the brake pedal and it "jumps" when i go to press it. we have taken it and had it put on the computer but no codes appear saying there is anything wrong with it. they say the sensors are fine. i have almost been rear-ended several times now. it happens every time i drive my car. i am too afraid to drive my car anymore. it is too dangerous. i can't afford to replace it. no dealer is going to take a faulty car and i can't afford to buy another one. we have researched the problem and found that we are not the only owners having this very same issue but no one seems to have found a resolution for their problem which leaves me very disheartened. now i am stuck in a car that can't be fixed and i have a car that i can't drive. gm needs to fix this issue before someone gets killed.

While driving on the highway, my chev traverse traction control, stabilitrak, abs and brake warning lights lit up! when both accelerating and applying brakes the car drags. additionally the air conditioning blows harders on its own.

The vehicle makes a grinding noise when braking. when you hit the brakes you also hear a crunching sound from the inside of the car. when attempting to stop you also feel the car jerking. the car has the stabilitrak light come on and when that happens it also says you have lost traction for the vehicle. when this happens the car feels like its gliding and has difficulty stopping. the engine in my car has a noise on the drivers side since the day i purchased the vehicle. at times you can even hear the noise while driving with your windows up. *tr
