I had to replace the driver side window motor at about 30,000 miles and now the passenger side motor is acting up and will probably have to be replaced - i am currently at 38000 miles. seeing so many other complaints, including vehicle door fires, this should be recalled. *tr
Water got on the window switches because the drivers window was left open a little during a rain storm, and none of the windows or door lock switches on the drivers door worked for 2 days. i know that there's a re-call for 2006 & 2007 model years for the same reason, so why not on the 2008? *tr
I purchased a 2008 chevrolet trailblazer in 2011 with 26,839 miles. at the beginning of march 2013 with 33,371 miles, the power window on the passenger side broke and is now stuck halfway down. the door still has power as i can hear the motor trying to work but the window will not move and there is a grinding sound in the door. i could have opened the window more than 20 times since purchase. also in aug 2011 at 27,522 miles the stabilitrack sensor malfunctioned and needed to be replaced and in jan 2012 at 28,547 miles the exhaust manifold cracked and needed to be replaced. *tr
