I was on my way to work at an ongoing traffic on the interstate and my 2007 trailblazer security and engine lights came on. it started to slow down and the engine completely shuts off. this is a known issue and happens multiple times before, i took it to the dealership service department they said they fixed it and i was charged almost $300 dollars unfortunately it did not fix. this is the worst vehicle i've ever had quality of the vehicle is suck. i will never buy chevrolet again!!!! *tr

My son in law was driving the car with my permission and while making a left turn the vehicle stalled; there was no steering or brakes. the steering wheel locked up during the turn and caused the vehicle to continue turning on it's own and i proceeded to hit a pole. the radio and lights were still on during this time, however, the engine shut off.

My ac is malfunctioning and my fan clutch is out of whack. my brakes are squealing it is hard for me to stop. my engine sometimes stops. i need help with these issues and i have no more to pay for these issues plaguing me. please help me fix my vehicle. *tr

The trailblazer died when my wife and children was sitting at a red light and when she started it back the motor was making a loud knocking noise. she pulled it to the side of the road and called a tow truck and had it towed into a garage. the mechanic said that the engine was shot. there was no indication anything was wrong when it happened all the gauges were showing everything to be good there was no noise in engine or any warning lamps lit up on the dash. we had the oil changed just 2-3 weeks ago. we have only had the vehicle for 8 months. also, the driver side window switch has been acting up when you press the switch to put down the window it will not go into automatic down. *tr

The fuel gauge level indicator just went from "full" to "empty", it just went that fast. minutes before it had just been filled at the gas station. when starting, the gauge rises then falls to empty. on occasions the warning message, "please tighten gas cap" comes on. now months later, same problem; after contacting "gm" hotline, they still have not shown any concern. i keep track of miles driven since last fill-up and gas used, so i know when it is time to fill-up. i have read many same complaints, and i wonder why "gm" has not issued a recall. it is now 08/21/2012 and problem is still ongoing. can you please help. please. "gm" has on numerous occasions suggested that the wire harness on top of the gas tank needs to be replaced, to do so, requires a five (5) hour visit and they expect the customer to pay half the cost. please help.

I was starting to go up a hill at a speed of 56 mph and i swerved to miss a couple of skunks when the steering locked on the truck and i went into the ditch to the left and then rolled the truck three times. when the vehicle was purchased in nov 2010 i noticed the srs light was on and the dash light and his response was to bring it back for service after i made a payment, during the accident the airbags did not deploy and the towing company who came to get the truck they had to cut the battery out because they couldn't get the steering to unlock. *kb

Fuel sender/gauge does not function. i bought this 07 trailblazer brand new and it only has 31k miles. problem started to occur around 27k miles and the dealer advised it was not covered under warranty!!! you would think with 70 complaints about this same issue, chevy would do something about it!!! very disappointing. i just wish that was the only problem...tire monitor doesn't work, the a/c electrical system failed, and the check engine light is always on. *tr

Gas gauge does not work. reads empty even after vehicle is filled with fuel. check engine is always on because of gauge problem. *kb

At 45,000 miles i have had to have the tierods replaced and there is still something wrong with the passenger side wheel assembly, but they can't seem to figure out what the squeak is. it could be a bearing i have been told, but they don't know without tearing it all down. 2nd is the power window on the drivers side is getting slower to come up and i can smell wires burning at times (although i am not sure if the 2 are related) i have also had to replace the "idler pulley" at 42,000 miles.....this seems ridiculous as it keeps turning out to be one thing after another????? *tr

Vehicle lights always on. check engine! gas gauge paid 600 dollars to fix and still check engine light on due to emission problem. car has 50000 miles and is a lemon.. *tr

I read about: gm recalling 1.4 million vehicles for fire hazard by peter valdes-dapena, senior writerjune 9, 2010: 10:03 am et. while driving to work on may 17, 2010, i heard a loud "pop" and i immediately pulled over and called aaa. approximately 10 minutes later, my 3 year old chevy trailblazer had flames start shooting out of the hood. it was engulfed in flames soon thereafter. i thought it was steam, so if a nj firefighter had not grabbed me out of the vehicle, i am not quite sure how this story would have ended... *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet trailblazer. while driving approximately 25 mph on normal road conditions, there was a low power response when the accelerator pedal was depressed. immediately, the vehicle accelerated unexpectedly. the traction warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel and remained lit until the engine was turned off. the vehicle was taken to the authorized dealer for inspection and they stated that the failure was related to the throttle body freezing. the throttle body was replaced. the failure recurred and the throttle body was replaced again. the failure mileage was 21,000 and current mileage was 35,950. updated 1/8/09 *cn the trac light illuminated, the right front window would not roll up. updated 01/14/09. *jb
