We purchased a new 2010 chevy tahoe with a trailer package. when we plugged the trailer plug in, we found that the no electricity was transmitted to the trailer lights and brakes. when we brought to vehicle to a chevy dealer, they informed us that the wires were not connected at the fuse box. we believe this is safety problem and a manufacturing defect. even worse the dealer claimed that this safety defect was not covered by the warranty because we did not ask for the wires to be connected to the fuse box when we bought the car. we were shocked at this convoluted argument. the manual indicated that we just and to plug the trailer wires into the tahoe plug. we are concerned that this manufacturing defect could lead to safety problem if someone just plugged their trailer wires in and later found themselves without trailer lights or brakes. *tr
