Problems with 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe EQUIPMENT

2007 chevrolet tahoe. consumer states several issues with vehicle and request information on recalls, service bulletins, warranties or lemon law *tgw the consumer stated the cruise control down shifted to 2nd while driving at highway speeds and on hills, the starter would hang, there was a noise coming from the ac compressor. the transmission was replaced. however, it continued to hesitate after the vehicle was started, as well as a vibration. there was a clicking noise coming from the differential, the idle needle would rise, while at a stop, the battery drained, the engine stalled, the dash was cracked, there was a problem with the suspension, the tire pressure monitoring system was repaired three times, the passenger side mirror was inoperable, the weather strip had come off the vehicle and there was a clicking noise coming from the u-joint. *jb

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet tahoe equipped with a webasto hollandia tvs 900. the contact stated that the sun roof was included in the recall associated with nhtsa campaign id number 10e038000 (visibility:sun roof assembly). the contact was attempting to have the sun roof repaired for approximately five months. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the parts would be available within four weeks. the parts necessary to repair the sun roof were never delivered. the manufacturer was again made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the parts were unavailable. the vin was not available.

I own a 2007 tahoe my tahoe accelerates with out pressing the gas pedal but you pressed it the rpm stay high even when you depress the accelerator if you put on drive the rpm stay high. i when to a used part store and exchange the accelerator and work fine since then when the electronic accelerator" breaks"s down i notice that stays at high rpms. *tr

Vehicle was vandalized resulting in replacement of 2007 model dual climate control cluster from gm. replacement part superseded 2007 model for the 2008 model, as the 2008 model is "better" design. the 2008 model however has a different color backlight display, resulting in uncontigous lighting on the interior. resulting in further deterioration of vehicle value. gm specifications fail to recognize the difference in lighting color, and are unable to replicate the 2007 climate control cluster. still waiting for solution to this problem after 6 weeks of working with gm corporate, and local dealership. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet tahoe. the air bag indicator continuously remains illuminated in the vehicle. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the air bags were not inflating properly. the retainer clip was replaced and the indicator was repaired. the indicator is currently illuminated again. the failure mileage was 34,665. updated 03/09/09. *lj the air condition blew otu hot air, the dvd and onstar stopped working as well as the seats and windows no longer operate. updated 03/12/09. *jb

My 2007 tahoe is a piece of ?!@#$%. since i got the truck it has been in and out of the shop. my gas gage floats i can start out at of a tank and it will go up to of a tank. the dealership has changed multiple parts and can not seem to fix it. the blower in the air conditioner went out that had to be replaced as well. my service light came on and another part had to be replaced. i would have to say that my truck has been in the shop at least 30 days. i would not buy another gm vehicle. the dealership was so quick to sell me the truck, not that quick to help me. i have picture and video with time and date of to gas gauge floating. my gas gage is the recurring problem, the dealership has changed multipr parts. *tr

Battery began to go dead. i would call road service to get it restarted. this has happened several times and *onstar was notified on most occasions of this happening.*onstar was notified due to the contract i have with them for roadside help. this has happened atleast seven times.(using *onstar for assistance on atleast three of these seven times) i have taken it back to the dealership for help with the problem. they replaced the battery. but the real problem is the car just up and shuts down while driving. this has happened twice(i told the dealer about it)and the thing ,other than the safety factor, i'm afraid to drive the car. i travel and i really need a car. i can't afford a secondary vehicle. my family stated nor can you afford to die either!the chance of taken the life of another person,to me,far exceeds the fear i have of loosing my on life. *tr

Under normal, non-towing driving, the 2007 tahoe (with 27,000 miles) would not go forward when placed into drive. as a result, my family is presently unable to use the vehicle and it was towed to a dealership for repairs. this occurred after the transmission was completely replaced at about 12,000 miles for the same problem. *nm

Several problems with new 2007 tahoe, including recall hvac, replace dvd, replace radio, vibrating left driver's mirror, back door molding, repaired passenger door power locks...however, main and irreparable issue is the poor fm & xm radio reception which fades in and out while driving. *nm
