Problems with 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 AIR BAGS

Takata recall once again i have attempted to schedule service to have the airbag inflators repaired or replaced as instructed by the recall notice. i have now been told that chevrolet has no remedy available for the recall and are currently waiting for analysis by the nhtsa of chevrolets independent testing which indicates the recall is not necessary. chevrolet states the vehicle is safe to operate. i guess the proof will be seen if the airbag deploys in an accident.

I keep hearing that my airbag has been recalled, but nobody has a solution for it. i cannot endanger my family every time we ride in this car.

Takata recall i cannot get replaced at a dealer in the kansas city metro area. can i get a replacement? how do i go about this? the safety of my children are in jeopardy.

My car have airbag light on and need repair i️ received a letter from takata recall to fix my airbag but chevy dealer not accepted to do. i️ want know when and where i need go to fix this problem or i need find a lawyer and go to the court to help please let me know thanks

Takata recall : received notification thru the mail. went online to "www. airbag recall .com" checked vin there and was directed to contact dealer to have airbag replaced. called dealer and was told that there isn't anything they could help me with. so i guess the paper work i received in the mail is a fraudulent document.

Tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet suburban 1500. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v381000 (air bags); however, the part for the recall repair was unavailable. the contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. the contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. the contact called bill cramer chevrolet buick gmc (2251 n w 23rd st. panama city, fl 32405; 850-387-4532) and was informed that the part for the recall repair was unavailable. the manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. the approximate failure mileage was 129,000. vin tool confirms parts not available. *tt consumer no longer owns the vehicle, traded in. updated 8/7/18*jb

Contacted dealer in 2016 about takata recall. told me the parts were not available. contacted dealer in oct 2017 again, told the parts were still not available. i believe the general motors has had sufficient time to acquire replacement air bag inflator and that they are deliberately stalling hoping the problem will simple go away. i need my truck fixed so that my wife can ride with me on trips.

(1)takata recall (2) dash board cracked at instrument cluster and by passenger airbag. purchased this vehicle in this condition. was informed by the dealer that is a common issue for this year/model chevrolet and would have to address the problem with a gm dealer.
