I'm concerned about the poor quality of the hitch receivers in the silverado 2500hd trucks put on the street by gm! i have a '03, and i'm getting a tt soon. the welds are rusty, and look as though they might even be cracked! if this receiver breaks, and i live to, i am suing gm. my atty has a copy and pic of the mal-quality re this receiver, and instructions to go forward. it sure would be nice if gm could find it in their ethical compass to repair/replace these without having to be spanked about it first. *nm
