Failure of front wheel hubs on 2000 silverado 2500. replaced both shortly after purchase of truck about 14 months ago. after about a year both are worn out again. one has extreme play. completely stock truck. on road use only. about 5000 easy miles on the hubs. seems that one is close to falling apart. the other is on the way. because of the excess play braking is compromised as well as stability. not sure what brand they are. but bought on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayisapi.dll?viewitem&item=160322928700#ht_2306wt_1004 i can only imagine how many people have hubs falling apart well before normal wear and tear. *tr
