Problem with abs brakes prematurely activating as i am coming to a stop. i slow down and when i'm almost to a stop the abs kicks in and the pedal drops down lower than anticipated. this almost caused an accident. this now happens all the time and i'm sending the car in for service on 8/5/08 to joe romano chevy in syracuse, ny. my understanding it that chevrolet had a recall for this in earlier model years. it appears that they have not corrected the problem and the recall should be extended. *tr
