Takata recall my "service airbag" light has come on and the dealership refuses to acknowledge that it could be related to the takata recall

Ignition ~ won't turn over. only ignition key & fob on the key ring ~ key will not turn over, can't start car & now air bag light comes on & off intermittently.

My truck with involved in an accident and hit a tree head on and the air bags did not deploy. my brother was injured with head trauma and dislocated hip and broken bones my brother hit black ice and it threw him off the road into a tree.

Please note my vehicle was not in an accident. i received an airbag recall notice via the mail this past summer and i checked to see whether or not my vehicle qualifies for this recall via the airbagrecall.com website and it does. i contacted my local chevrolet dealer a few times since receiving this notice this past summer, but each time they have informed me that i will receive a second letter notifying me of when the parts will be available. my concern is the www.airbagrecall.com website states this needs to be taken care of by november 1, 2018 in order for my vehicle to qualify for this airbag replacement. please direct me on next step information along with timing for when this replacement can be made.

My family was involved with a collision with a guardrail at 45 degrees angle to the driver's side front. drivers bag did not deploy, passengers airbag smoked but did not deploy. thank god for seatbelts. the collision was at 65 mpg

Takata recall i haven't received a letter for repair on the passenger side of my vehicle and i am getting concerned because i have already reported. i do not know why is taking too long to fix the problem , i have been worried that the air bag might explode because of weather heat we are having in my area. please let me know when the problem will be fixed. thanks.

Takata recall: upon receipt of the recall notice, i have been contacting gm about this. the standard answer i have been given each time is that a 'repair is not yet available' along with 'lack of available replacement parts'. now the call center told me that they are replacing the airbags but due to the number of affected vehicles that it is going to take a very long time and i cannot just go to my local dealership for the repair and that i must wait for the letter to come in the mail to get the airbags replaced. i plan to call my local dealership to see if they have a different perspective. if the vin shows needing replacement, one should be able to the dealership for immediate replacement of a potentially life threatening device. there nhtsa shouldn't allow any "petition of inconsequentiality" when it comes to life saving decisions, tell the oem to replace 100%, no exceptions.

Takata recall ( i can't get my airbags replaced!)
