I had steering wheel turned all the way to the left, to pull into a parking lot, and attempted to turn wheel back all the way to the right to enter a parking space. when i attempted to turn back to the right, the engine rpm dropped and power steering failed. i was able to force the steering wheel through the turn to avoid hitting parked car, and power steering returned to normal after engine recovered. i have also had similar problem when attempting parking lot maneuvers and backing up trailers. took to dealer where they showed me a print out that stated the problem exists, but is not recognized as a problem because power steering returns to "normal" when vehicle returns to normal driving conditions. *tr
