Door locks stick when hot outside and break lights won't go off.. i have been pulled over by police and given a warning to get lights fixed.. i took it to a repair shop they think it could be the wiring harness or don't know what is causing it.. but it's dangerous to drive

Fleet user of the 1500 chevy pickup trucks. issue reported, head light out. diagnoses showed burnt wires on the head light plug to bulb connecter. repair performed was to replace the harness on both left and right head lights to correct a melting plug connecter. most time its is one headlight affected at a time, but the loss of both head lights is seen. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado 1500. the contact stated that the passenger side low beam headlight failed numerous times. the local mechanic replaced the low beam bulb and module numerous times; however, the failure was not corrected. the low beam bulb and module continued to fail. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised that the vehicle was not included in the manufacturer headlight recall. the nhtsa campaign number was unknown. the approximate failure mileage was 62,000.
Tl*the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado 1500. whenever the ignition was started, a sulfuric egg odor expelled throughout the air vents. in addition, the driver and passenger experienced nausea and vomiting due to being exposed to the odor. they are in the process of being tested for the symptoms. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection, but they could not duplicate the failure. the vehicle was taken to the authorized dealer on fifteen separate occasions for the identical failure, but there were no resolutions. the catalytic converter was replaced and the failure continued. the authorized dealer stated that there were no other alternatives to correct the failure. the technician suggested that the high ox-fuel may have caused the failure. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was 10 and current mileage was 5,033. updated 4/16/09 *cnn the gauges were acting erratic. the door lock mechanism rattled, the right and left blinkers didn't work. updated 04/21/09.*jb
