Takata recall , was never contacted about the recall , also wheel hub assembly i have replaced them several times and i have yet to hear from anyone about this situation i don't think i will be buying a chevy any longer because of the rust on this truck and everything else that is wrong with it

Spare tire fell off going down the road at 10 miles per hour. the whole bracket was still on the tire.
Tire capitol 245/70/17 precision trac ii, dot 11/13: i was driving on the durate road near intersection santa anita in arcadia,ca about 35 miles per hour, i heard a loud noise similar to a compressor hose within 5 mins, all the air in my rear tire are gone, luckily i was near the arcadia tire shop (1/2 mile ),they inspected the tire, they told me there is a failure in the side wall rear tire . recommended that i should not use these tire any more, it is not safe. these tire looks brand new, estimated 5000 miles of usage. i am replacing all 4 new tires at cosco, i am afraid to use these tire again. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2012 chevrolet silverado 1500. the contact stated while driving approximate 70 mph, the front driver's side wheel fell off. the contact was able to safely merge to the side of the road. the vehicle was towed to a dealer. the technician diagnosed that the front driver's side wheel bearing and rotor needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 78,000.
