Selected adaptive equipment and suspension and body because there is no place to add tailgate and that is where he problem is - geez - that part makes no senese at all. *tr tailgate lock on riders side of vehicle does not engage properly. it has been replaced once and greased once at butch ostelete in pascagoula, ms. i called about repair but the person on the phone said they would have to charge me to repair it. the problem is you have to stick your finger in the lock pin and slide it upward to make it engage when the tailgate is closed. this has been on going since i have on the vehicle. it is a defect that could cause someone (like me) to injure their finger in the lock or jolt a persons wrist and elbows (like me) and cause harm. this defect needs to be called to gm attention and have these issues repaired.
I have a 2007 silverado... i noticed back in 2010 that the dash was cracked at the air bag area above the glove compartment but after doing some research it seems this is a common problem among these new body style years. 2014...my dealer offered me a repair discount of 20% which i thought was absurd !!! *tr
