Reimbursement complaint concerning gm ball joints. *bf the front wheel on the consumers vehicle collapsed. the consumer is requesting reimbursement for the ball joint. the front also had to be replaced 4 month later. *jb
Chevrolet s-10, 2000, with 19000 miles on it. left front wheel bearing had to be replaced. it also, was never driven in the winter, so there is no salt damage. we had an independent mechanic do the job because the chevrolet dealership would not get back with us.,and we think something should be done. we paid $329.02 to have this work done. also, i heard that a lot of these trucks and blazers have had this same problem.*ak
Lower right ball joint failing uneven tire wear,34000 miles. *ak
Failure of right front wheel bearing. in past three months have also had to replace left wheel bearing assembly and lower ball joint, as well as effected tire. have spent over $750 in parts and labor on this vehicle for these failure in past 90 days. mechanic says to expect problems with wheel bearings to continue in future. *jb
Left wheel bearing assembly failure, caused brake failure (due to fraying of brake sensor). mechanic warns this will be a recurring problem with this vehicle. recently also had to replace lower ball joint in same vehicle. *jb
Lower ball joint, lower control arm, one side (b) had to be replaced, along with tire (other front tire previously replaced for irregular wear); problem found upon yearly state inspection. *jb
Consumer states that while driving and no warning the stabilizer bar snap causing the consumer to lose steering control and was force to pull over. dealer notified ts
