While in motion cars reduced engine power lights up on dashboard and car looses power while driving

The ecm and battery sensor malfunctioned on dec 9. i found out that gmc has known about this for sometime. september 6, 2019 is documented on your site. i was notified from onstar after i passed the mileage for gmc to have pay for this problem.

There is a safety recall on the 2018 malibu remedy listed is dealer will reprogram ecm software to correct the error. i made the appointment for the recall. hours after the appointment a technician from the murfreesboro tn chevy dealership called me and said i have to pay a diagnosis fee for them to repair the recall although the issue they want to charge the fee is the recall!!! dishonest business!!!

I bought this car last aug. 2018. first the left blinker did not work properly. it goes on but doesn't retract back. i brought it back twice and it still does it. this morning 14 oct 2019, i went to pull out of my driveway and the dash board started to light up. the engine light is on and the car told me i had not gas, which i did. i tried pulling out of my driveway and it would barely move. i backed up into my driveway and it seemed ok. i am bringing it to middletown chevrolet dealership to have them take a look. mind you i used the car saturday night and it was totally fine. very weird. i'm hoping they find out the problem and fix it with out a hassle since it's still under warranty. i'll keep everyone posted.

I came to a stop at the traffic light. when green light came on the car stalled, would not restart. after 5th attempt car restarted. check engine light came on and stayed on. i took the car to the dealership, they said they did not know how to fix, so they have contacted gm. still waiting for response ; its been 10 days. car has 6300 miles on it. event occurred on city st, afternoon traffic.

I have taken my car into the dealership 2 different times now because of the steering wheel randomly shaking while going down a straight road. they have tried to replicate it but it seems to do it randomly. ive noticed it is around 38 mph. if my hands barely come off of the steering wheel it starts shaking back and forth. this is happening just driving around the city on straight roads. once i put my hands back on the wheel it stops. they cannot seem to figure out what it is. it has happened randomly ever since i purchased my car brand new about a year ago.

I was driving down the road and the car stopped running coming up to an intersection i about got hit by a truck and the car would not restart i then pushed it out of the intersection and walk to the nearest dealership they said there is not a remedy for my car as of right now and i'm still waiting i don't feel safe with me about getting hit driving the vehicle let alone one of my four small children in the car

The air conditioning works when it wants to! i believe this is a safety issue for a driver , driving in 100+ heat. the chevy service department said this is a problem with the malibu and cruse. it has been serviced and needed freon and that was done and it worked for a half day. it started on first day or purchase 7/23-31/2019

Transmission system is not performing as expected. an issue has been detected in the ignition system which oversees the timing and spark necessary to ignite fuel into the engine. gm and chevrolet dealerships are claiming there is no problem however engine light comes on and on-star reports problems and nothing is fixed. brand new car with 8600 miles and less then a year old.

'engine being reduced' popped up while i was driving on the highway. my speed was then slowed down to 20mph. this is very dangerous!! went to autozone to have a diagnosis test performed results said it was throttle body/accelerator pedal.

At any given time, when vehicle is stationary and shift lever set to 'park', the instrument panel screen displays a 'shift to park' message even with the lever set to the 'park' position. the vehicle seems to be in 'park' however, battery power to the vehicle remains and will not shut off. car electrical system remains on and honks three times if the key fob is not in range. it is concerning that the vehicle is never fully in 'park' mode or that the vehicle is never fully turned off and can cause an accident if unattended.

My vehicle has an electrical issue with the power windows and the radio. the power windows will stop working if i try to adjust them to the perfect height for me, forcing me to have to press buttons on another window in order to be able to go back to the window that i would like to adjust. this problem is present in all four windows. the major problem is that the car has some sort of power issue that has been recognized by the chevrolet dealerships that i have taken it to but it still has not been fixed. in the middle of driving the car loses power and will not move forward at a regular pace and begins to struggle to move forward while the rpm's build up bringing it close to redlining. at that point it will begin to move and jerk when it finally shifts into gear and will do it a second time immediately after the first jerk and begin to drive normal. it has nearly killed my pregnant wife and myself multiple times. it has nearly gotten my younger cousin and i killed on the expressway by struggling to drive while placing in the path of a oncoming semi. we brought the car in late december of 2018 and the problems started about a few days short of a week into the new year. this car is dangerous and from what i understand there are drivers of the chevy cruze experiencing some of the same issues.

Takata recall my car stalls when i'm at the light. it take about 10 seconds before it get in full speed.

My car is lagging when i come from a complete stop. it sputters at times when i accelerate. my car is also making a vibration noise when i accelerate, slow down, turning, on highway, city streets and when i'm coasting. this start happening when my vehicle reached 13,000 miles. i almost got into four accidents due to this issue. there need to be a recall asap! i'm pretty sure that is not going to be one until someone dies because of it.

My right blinker and brake light keep shorting out. it will be fine for a few days and then stop working. also, the interior carpet is too short and keep coming out of the trim in the front area s of the vehicle.
