Purchased vehicle on 8/8/19 and still have not received out plate or title have went there 2 time told me it was sent in, called dmv and they said paperwork was not sent in until nov 4 and they did not send all the money, still nothing, my car is parked with an expired temporary plare

Brake lights stay on while driving but shut off when actually put on brakes.... very dangerous
My car has bluetooth capabilities and my device was connected until oct 2018. when i press the button, mutes radio. computer never responds, "ready". i also noticed that onstar is no longer working. does not make a noise when blue button is pressed. i looked up symptoms and noticed there was a bulletin for this exact issue 08-08-46-008 a/b. dealership says there is no software to be updated and i've tried multiple phones and prior to determining if my device is compatible, the computer must respond when following the set up rules.
I have been having trouble with my car almost from the time of purchase. my vehicle is having some transmission problems. it is having problems picking up speed and jerks when gears are shifted. i have also notice that when the button is pushed to roll down the window, the light flickers a bit. my car has numerous recalls on it but everytime i take it to the shop, they tell me they are closed out. that is a safety issue, how can they legally close out a recall of something that is unsafe? he said they put a certain number out of how many vehicles have gotten the recall taken care of. the others are considered lost or stolen. i bought this car used and i did not have it in the time the recalls were issued. my vehicle has never been lost or stolen. i have taken it to bob bell numerous times, only to be told the recalls are closed. i had to get my insurance to pay for one of the recall issues because my steering while locked up while driving and i was unable to turn the wheel. this transmission issue i am having has to do with another recall issue but they tell me it is closed out. there is also an open recall for the takata inflators. when i get into the vehicle and start it then put it in reverse to back out, i can feel it jerk and often hear a pop sound. sometimes it is extremely difficult to get it to shift into reverse. it seems stuck. the vehicle seem sluggish, like it does not have full power.
The esc light has come on along with several other lights like traction control and air bag on the dash and now it won't start.
I started my car this morning nov. 05, 2018. it was making this weird shaking noice. after a few minutes it was showing me "service esc" and "esc off" and "service traction". this is weird after 6months driving from ca to va it starts to act up.
When driving the vehicle the service traction service esc & esc off lights come off/on seems to be worse when i turn the vehicle will drive rough at times, also the cruise control will fail to work. got a recall on this in 2017 took it into a dealer shop who applied gel to connectors said that fixed the problem, it certainly did not.i do not know if this is safe to drive my vehicle since it is the only one i own i do not have a choice. since this has been going on for more than a year now i can not give an exact date but it does happen daily..i need the repairs made by gm not me
I was driving the car and the power steering went out and the esc light , traction light , battery light , air bag light , and all speed went all the way down as i was driving the car down the road. this problem has happened before but it has started again.
Takata recall the airbag light has come on and stays on something with the steering, wheels, drivetrain, and possibly bcm. a lot of vibration when driving and braking. becoming such an issue to the point i fear to have my 11 month old child in it.
Smell of gas in the car when turned on. after a couple of minutes, the smell goes away. my mechanic looked allover the car and cant find the issue. no warning signs on the dashboard.
I am not sure where to start. door locks intermittently don't work, bluetooth just stopped working, have had to change headlight bulbs 3 times in 2 years, power steering went out (had that repaired by dealer at not cost), ac/heater/defroster used to shut off intermittently, now it just stopped working, driver's side seat heater stopped working, instrument panel randomly throws up error code (example: service airbag, service engine) oh and the paint is fading on hood roof and trunk. car has 75,000 miles and i used to love it. no i won't drive it out of town.
Driving the malibu down the country road and some code flashed on the dash and then said power reduction and now its making a weird noise and car only drives slow, if this happens on a highway their will be a crash as when the power reduction kicked on it turned off traction control and power steering making it hard to move the steering wheel thank goodness i was in the country with little traffic.
A few minutes after i start driving the esc off/service traction light will come on and it keeps flashing back and fourth between error messages. my check engine light is not on, but when i go to accelerate my car jumps kind of. and if i let my foot off the gas it feels like i'm shifting gears and my car will start going slow. i'll push back down on the gas and i will seem like it's trying to get speed but takes a min. they are trying to say i don't have a recall but something is wrong clearly. the error lights will go on no matter if i'm driving or parked.
I made a complaint on around l/17/17 complaining about my car have service esc service traction and trying to stall out with brake lights being on> since that time it has been at dealership more than being driven. it is there now, making this the 7th trip to dealership and once to independent mechanic. this is a common problem with malibu and needs to be resolved by general motors-not me. you ask for a date when this happened-the space only allows for 1 date. it has been ongoing for over 1 & 1/2 years.
Door locks lock and unlock at random buttons on doors and fob inoperable this is a very large safety hazzard i have come outside to find my car unlocked in the morning after locking it the night before and have found this to be a normal problem with this vehicle meaning it is a manufacturer defeat that should be fixed by the manufacturer the problem even happens when the car is in motion unlocking and locking at random a child could fall out at any speed when door unlocks plus i could come out to someone in my car in the morning with these inoperable
Car will intermittently not start. while camping in arizona my car wouldn't start. i took it to a repair shop where they replaced the starter and fuel pump. it started fine for a little while and then decided to randomly stop starting again.
Theft system light is on and i'm not able to start my car. the radio still works and all the lights and heater and a/c. i try to start the car a few times and sometimes it take several trys to get the car to start. this has been happening quite a bit
Power locks do not work properly on my 2009 chevy malibu. i can sometimes get driver's door to unlock with remote, but rarely the passenger or back doors. the switches inside are of no help either. we have to manually pull up on each lock and then push them down when we exit. this is obviously a safety hazard for me and my passengers in the case we have to enter or exit the vehicle quickly. the locks do occasionally lock when put in gear, but do not always when in park or when the ignition is turned off. with small children, this is dangerous. i have changed remote batteries, reprogrammed remotes, and have changed the fuse for the locks. nothing has changed. when troubleshooting online, i saw dozens of complaints about this same issue. this is obviously something that chevrolet needs to fix. they should have a recall immediately and take care of this issue. customers buy vehicles in good faith that the makers will take care of these known defects. i can understand the ordinary repairs, but this is a problem that the maker is aware of and continues to make no changes.
My driver's side door will not open. i can't open it from the inside or outside. it is in park and i have to climb through the passenger side door. this is so dangerous!
While driving the car the service traction/esc light comes on and startes jerking the rpms shoot up to 4000 and makes a rattle noise. when doing this the speed does not change to reflect the rpms. when at a idle the rpms rest at about 2200. the car doesnt fully want to stop when coming to red light or when breaking. i have had the car a diffrent speeds and tends to stall and shack no matter what.
Engine power reduced and car cranks but wont start. it also slowed down when that engine power reduced came on almost had an accident and my family was in the car.
There is something faulty in the system which is causing the battery to become completely drained if the car sits 2/3 days without being started. i have replaced my 3 times and still something in the car is continuing to drain the battery. there is hundreds of people all over the internet that are having this same issue. not even the dealership could fix the issue. i am not physically leaving anything on in the car but it continues to keep dying. this is definitely a defect with this car that needs to be fixed. my car is a 2009, and it has been dying 2011.
Rear door lock fails to open or close. must be manually unlocked or locked. the safety concern is the inability to lock or unlock the door in an emergency. must physically climb into back seat to reach the lever to unlock the door as the lever is located at the rear of the door. this may seem to be more of a convenience issue, but it could very well become a matter of life or death particularly if the occupant is a child or a person with a disability. furthermore, i read numerous accounts of door lock actuators failing on these vehicles. it is indeed a safety issue. must a person die before corrective measures are ordered?
My car stopped being able to shift. i pulled over and lost the ability to reverse as well. the mechanic confirmed it was my transmission, and recommended i take it to the dealership b/c chevy consistently has problems with transmissions and there was a "special coverage adjustment". my particular vin did not qualify to be repaired by chevy/gm although it was the exact same issues that the "special coverage" paperwork described. do not buy a chevy or gm vehicle. they refuse to own up to any issues with their parts. their poor quality standards don't stop at the assembly line, they go right on through to customer service as well.
My door locks are locking and unlocking while i'm driving and also while the vehicle is parked.
When parked or when driving, doors randomly lock and unlock. have seen several other complaints online from consumers around the country with this exact same problem. they all say that chevrolet dealerships refuse to repair at their cost and that cost is too high for most consumers ($300/lock). i also believe this is a safety concern, my grandchildren often ride with me, what if they open the door on the freeway?! locked inside the car while it's on fire?! to say that this is not a safety concern is simply gross negligence! negligence case law has shown that failure to act with prior knowledge is complicity of/to manslaughter, and this turns an accidental death into manslaughter. gm! wake up, get into gear here. does your new ceo really want to deal with another recall cover up??!!!!
There was a recall for the wiring harness related to these problems..rk chevrolet in vineland,nj repaired it supposedly. days after the warranty on socalled repair the problem persisted yet again and i returned to dealership they said there was no problem with it...gave me codes for something else which did not relate to what is wrong...i'm getting nowhere with this and it is not safe to drive this vehicle which is needed for family transportation and work.esc light stays on,traction control stays on,brake lights come on while driving but not when braking.

There have been multiple repairs done on this car because of recalls and potential recall items. i still owe $7,000 on this vehicle! i feel like the manufacturer owes me money as well as the dealership who fixed the recalled items and the items that are not yet in recall that need to be repaired are going to cause a complete accident if this is not handled promptly. i have two small children and organize volunteer work in my area and do not have the money to fix it. i feel like this is entitled to me and i should not have to have a faulty car when i am also paying on it. i can offer more details when you contact me.
The door locks on this vehicle will not secure and must be secured manually when entering or exiting the vehicle, also unlocks and locks during driving.. very unsafe vehicle at this time due to these door lock issues. not able to feel comfortable as much with this vehicle due to these issures. please fix.

Both front speakers, in the doors, do not work. i cannot hear chimes from turn signals being on too long, from keys being in the ignition when the doors are open and other such warning signals. it has caused confusion at times when the warning signals are not alerting me to problems while driving.
When first got car doors locked and unlocked with remote for apps 1 week. then over appx month stopped working 1 door at a time. at this point the power locks inside (on door) do not work and lock/ unlock intermittently and even if i can unlock manually my drivers door it still stays locked even when lock is in fully unlocked position. quite scary for someone that drives alone at night and my doors are unlocking themselves. god forbid i do get into an accident and need to get out of the car quickly. also this makes it so my panic does not work on my fob. yes i've changed batteries multiple times. also my power steering has been cutting in and out while moving most often during turns. what happens if i am moving on a highway and i cannot steer correctly? feeling very unsure of my safety at this point.
Tl*the contact owns a 2009 chevrolet malibu. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer due to a very strong chemical smell inside the passenger compartment. the dealer advised him to drive with the windows open, keep the vehicle out of direct sunlight, and allow it to air out. after a few weeks of airing out the vehicle, the contact rear ended another vehicle at 40 mph. there were no injuries. the contact believed that the strong scent in the vehicle caused him to become disoriented while driving. he believed that the scent was so strong that it caused him to drive poorly. the vehicle was towed to the dealer and repaired by the insurance company. the contact does not want to drive the vehicle due to the odor. the current and failure mileages were 800. updated 07/14/09 *bf the consumer also stated after crashing into several cars, the air bags did not deploy. the consumer believed the reason he crashed was due to the chemical smell in the vehicle which caused him to become disoriented. updated 07/16/09.*jb
