I have a 2003 chevy impala which i bought new in 2003 it has only 40,000 miles on it. it has been doing strange things electrically, it locks up won't start, passlock/system lights have messages like security, service vehicle soon. installed new ignition switch, battery. had it scanned and no problems detected. always had a gm vehicle, if this is how they make cars and don't acknowledge that there are problems foreign vehicles might be the answer. *tr
