Brakes keep wearing out on this vehicle. 4 brake jobs and it only has 55,000 miles and we baby this van.*ak
While driving front brakes would get too hot, causing extended stopping distance. dealer has been notified. *ak the passenger front side wheel speed sensor melted, the rotors showed many cracks in the surface, and the caliper had been replaced. the front wheel bearings showed signs of heat. the consumer requested to be informed about this problem. *scc *jb
While driving , the driver and passenger side seat snapped off the base, on different occasions. *ak the seat belts unlatched by themselves, the rear bench seat failed to stay tight, the side doors were difficult to open and the outside mirrors vibrated and the brakes were faulty *jb *nm
There was vibration when applying brakes. front rotors have been turned once, then replaced due to warping.*ak
When traveling there is no certain speed, and steering is hard to steer. when applying brakes vehicle doesn't stop, results in extended stopping distance. *ak shaft broke in power steeting pump and front brakes failed. *yh
Intermittently when brakes are applied vehicle pulls. dealer has inspected and repaired vehicle, and the problem has not been corrected. *ak after numerous failures, the consumer was negotiating with the dealer for trading in the vehicle. *yh
Braking system malfunctioned which caused more wear and tear on brake pads, resulting in extended stopping distance. *ak the premature wearing of the brake pads required the rotors to be turned. *yh
While driving about 30 mph applied brakes, pedal felt spongy and went to the floor. no braking action, hit vehicle in front. $ 1200.00 damage. dealer said there was nothing wrong with brakes. consumer then went to another dealer, was told rear brakes were not functional. chevrolet took no responsibility for accident.*ak
There is a clunking noise when applying brakes at speeds of 20 mph, and under on both corners of front end. after 13 attempts of trying to fix defect , manufacturer is buying vehicle back. *ak *slc
Front brakes are wearing out prematurely, it causes front wheel to lock up. dealer notified. feel free to provide any further information. *ak
Repairs to the brakes 8 times, melted three sets of abs sensors, burnt two sets of calipers and bearings out, melted the hub caps off twice. made eight attemps to repair to no avail.
When brakes are applied vehicle pulls to the right. dealer has inspected the vehicle. *ak
Vehicle has been in repair shop three times pertaining to brake pads . brake pads are too weak, and there is excessive brake wear on front wheels. *ak the dealer says that the brake is too small for the vehicle because of faulty design. excessive brake dust accumulated on front wheel rims. brake rotors show signs of excessive heat generated by brakes. *yh
Vehicle was pulling hard to the left while applying brakes from 0-45 mph.also, abs brakes intermittently would fail to operate and engage while pulling from a stop position. vehicle has been in/out of dealer's shop on three occasions, and consumer was informed that nothing could be found. provide further details.*ak
