While at stop light, vehicle began to jerk. dealership couldn't repeat issue since it only occurred when engine was cold. issue persisted and became worse. vehicle stalled as if it was out of gas. started again after a few minutes. next day started without issue but began to jerk when applying breaks more than usual. parked and turned off to run into store. vehicle wouldn't start again. towed to mechanic.
Gas petal is sticking and will not release until i pump the breaks
Strong gas smell from right rear of vehicle that spreads throughout vehicle both parked and in motion
Vehicle lost all power while pulling into a 4 way main road. vehicle emergency lights/flashers did not work. complete electrical failure. car was stalled in active traffic lane during night time hours. vehicle was towed into dealer for full diagnostic review- no issue was found with vehicle, although several eec test codes were detected- p0627, p0629, p01400, u18a2, u1524 and u18b4+71- most codes having to do with fuel pump/emission issues. owner of vehicle considers this a serious issue as car stalled at night, in a heavy traffic area with no lighting or emergency flashers working to provide protection from on-coming traffic. emergency personnel were called to assist.
There is a fuel link that appears to be coming from where the fuel tank the leak was found when i park the car and let it site for a few hours. a strong fuel smell and a wet spot on the pavement under the fuel tank. i have smelled the gasoline previously but didn't notic the leak until i had something to unload from my trunk.
Rattle and noise in the front passenger side of vehicle as soon as vehicle is turned on and while in motion, making weird noises and movements while driving, occasional hard shift, back rear drivers tire losing pressure for no reason, pulling code for p0420, did a google search and seen multiple complaints for the same issues on the same year, make, and model but no recall on my vin or history of recall, while others said dealers had said it was due to a recall. just bought from baxter dealership in bellevue, ne two weeks ago.
My 2015 chevy equinox began stalling and idling low to the point that slowing down or stopping would cause a stalling issue; going in reverse would cause a stalling issue; putting it in park would cause a stalling issue. sometimes the check engine light would come on, but most times it did not. the vehicle maintains a regular oil change and maintenance schedule yet this problem, which was intermittent at first, began happening every time the vehicle was driven. could not be driven due to safety concerns. very scary in traffic!
General motors have been at no assistance to me since my purchase of my 2010 chevrolet equinox i purchased it february/march of 2016 and have had continuous issue with the vehicle, i contacted the place of purchase and general motors numerous times about the complaint of my vehicle. also with the attached proof of repairs i referred to the dealers who did the repairs and general motors of any current recalls. back in october 2019 my check engine light came on because my converter went out and my 100k warranty expired, gm was not in understanding and would not assist. then i did my own research and found there was a oil consumption law suite and a separate special extended warranty in the catalytic converter but only until 120k. my issue is general motors will not assist me due to me being over the 120k mileage even though i inquired about it time after time since the time i purchased the vehicle. i have kept up to date in my address even when i moved out of state. i'm just looking for assistance in why my vehicle is not covered under the law suite or covered with the special ...
Fuel pump/ low fuel issues fuel pump failing, which in part leaks fuel into the engine. running error codes. low engine power light displayed on dash followed by reduce power. dealership advises it's a 900 charge. certain 2011 equinox models fall under the product emission recall 43180 high pressure fuel recall. however i am being advised mine does not although issue appears to be consistent with recall at first glance.
At least every 3 months tired pressure is off then a sensor then the car starts turning off on me and i have to take it back to the dealer.
