Car is burning oil at abnormally fast rate. i have been driving with quart of oil in my car at all times since finding out about existing problem with earlier model year vehicles and noticing the pattern in my vehicle. check engine light and reduced engine power notification came on while driving on highway. the stability track notification came on as well. i am now being told by local mechanic that i may need a new engine. i was informed by local dealership that timing shaft and actuator may need to be replaced just to get the car to start. the underlying problem is the same as the existing problem in class action lawsuit for 2010-2013 models. chevrolet has built an engine that doesn't work and they need to pay for this. how many complaints does there need to be before something is done.
Had my equinox for couple years without any problems. just recently abs light came on along with traction control. suv slides to the side when applying breaks. a month before this started engine light kept turning on and off. didn't stay long enough to see whats wrong. gas gauge does not show correct amount of fuel 1 out of 5 days.
I got a faulty code of p0010 and my car will cut off at any given time when in drive or reverse. there was another p code that pertained to the bank 1 solenoid and timing chain.
Speedometer randomly drops to zero while driving 60- 70mph down highway and at lower speeds as well such as 30mph. check engine light comes on and then stability tracker comes on.thermometer for engine drops to cold at same time and car begins jolting/jerking. needles on dash board go hay wire and move back and forth. after a few hours check engine light goes off and then dealership can't find fix because check engine light is intermittent. have been dealing with this issue on and off for 3 years. chevy on star diagnostics provides error codes that point to tcm, ecm and abs-breaking and stability system. chevy dealers are never able to come to resolution and pin down what is wrong. issue keeps happening. i have more invoices/chevy onstar diagnostic documents showing issue and error codes but i was unable to upload them all as i can only upload 5mb. am able to provide that additional documentation if need be.
While in motion engine sputters as if running out of gas, a/c shuts down, then engine quits working and car completely shuts off. battery is working fine; lights, radio, etc. work. cannot turn engine over, cannot give gas to engine. attempted to jump start, engine does not respond.

Rv towed 2015 equinox developing vibration and hard to hold on highway. hard to steer without over-correcting
Although my equinox is just a year old i'm having problems with the stabili-trak and power steering. the service light for both of these keeps coming on and both keep going out while i drive which is extremely dangerous. also my electronic panel keeps going out. i know these must be a manufactory defect but i'm getting no where with them. please help!
Engine lost power in the middle of driving 60 mph down to 20 mph,could not accelerate, fuses went off, according to the dealership, yesterday 01/25/2016 from a regular oil change maintaince another mechanic said axle is leaking as well as the pan leaking they need to replace seals. week one battery died, twice same week, even wipers came off.
