I have to replace throttle body because my car would just stall while driving in the middle of the road as well as replacing my muffler. currently i have a new set of brakes that squeal like no tomorrow and my check engine light just came on giving me codes to replace 2 camshaft positioning solenoid actuator and finally the car it turning into a complete rust bucket. .
Oil comsumption, abs light want go off. stableizer track light want go off and the dashboard light warning with the car and the wiggle lines wnat go off. now my dashborad brake light is on. every time i start the car up all these lights come on and i am afraid to drive it. i have had it coded but nothing comes up. and my ignition is starting to slip when i crank it . it does not matter if i am moving or not the lights still stay on.
Driving down the road going 55mph and all of a sudden i loose speed control to almost 20 mph. i try to press the gas to accelerate and it feels like the brakes are being pressed down. have to press gas pedal almost to the floor to get it off the road safely. immediately turned on emergency flashers to alert vehicles behind me. stabilitrk light and tc light comes on. i have read plenty of forums having this same problem with the 2010 cheverelet equinox and nobody seems to know the solution to this problem. have had several mechanics and break specialist look at the problem and they are confused to why this is happening. i have a small child in the back seat. thank god we weren't on a 70 mph highway and that happened. there could have been fatalities. i dont have any mechanic receipts because they dont know what to start to fix the problem with. they said it could be numerous ideas( brakes, throttle, electrical, etc). this should be investigated immediately!!
Stabilitrak service light is on and abs light is on
Once vehicle reaches 25 mph the stability control turns off and simultaneously the abs turns off and awd turns off ass well

I had exited i75 and was driving on a 35mph county road when the incident occurred. i was driving at a slow speed in anticipation of stopping at a red light at a major intersection. stepped on the brakes on my 2010 chevy equinox and the pedal went all the way down, but car was still rolling. no warning sign from the computer in the car. i'm sure there are others out there with the same complaint. major driver/road safety issue!!
Brake warning light came on while i was driving. i went directly to chevy dealer. they found that the brake fluid reservoir was empty as the rubber seal into the break master cylinder had failed. the dealer had to replace the master cylinder and the booster and flush the brake system at a cost of $1,210.92. i discovered that this exact same problem had lead to recalls in 2010 of toyota avalons and highlanders. also nissan in 2009 recalled sentras for same reason. my chevy service manager confirmed that my brake system failure was the same cause. i have contacted chevrolet headquarters and they refuse to discuss the matter with me and refuse to give me any information on their experience of this brake system failure.can you help me?why is there no gm recall ?
I have to replace one of the tire hubs on my car because the stabilizability track is messed up. costing me over $650. the lights came on one day to get it serviced. that is the only reason i knew something was wrong.
On august 21,2015 i was coming home while driving on the road i entered a curve and my steering wheel did not turn with the curve my car continued going straight i had no control of the steering wheel and i tried to brake and the brakes did not stop the car so i went into the ditch wrecking my car it was totaled and i was hurt the car was totaled the chevrolet dealer told me to bring the car in and they would fix the problem at no charge they had a special warranty fund to cover the cost of repair of the steering problem there had been others with the same problem--needless to say my totally wrecked car could not be brought to the dealer --i was told to call roadside service to tow it in and fix the problem--a recall should be issued on the power steering and the brake system--i could of been killed and at the age of 71 years very thankful that god was with me and saved my life thank you --god bless!!! Brake master cylinder rear seal failed and fluid completely filled the brake booster causing the brakes to apply. the brakes would not release causing the vehicle to stop in the traffic lane without any warning (brake lights) to the vehicles behind almost causing a rear end collision. *tr
