While traveling to work on highway 100 east bound in md. my 2005 chevy equinox started having vibrations in the steering wheel. i was traveling in the number 2 lane on a 3 lane highway when the vehicle then pulled me to the left. i counter steered to the right and the vehicle pulled me into a hard left straight into a guard rail. i could not control the vehicle after it pulled me to the left which resulted in my crash into the guard rail and another car hitting me afterwards. after the accident i exited the vehicle and looked at the tires located on the left side of the vehicle because i thought that this was the problem. both tires on the driver side were flat and off of the rims. i could understand the front tire being in this condition but the rear tire was not near any impact. that portion of the car didn't receive any damage which makes no sense to me. a couple of months prior to this accident i had sears install 4 brand new goodyear weatherhandler fuelmax tires. i feel as if these tires or the installation almost ended my life and i wanted to report it so that this doesn't happen to someone else. *tr

2005 equinox bought used in 2007at 35000 miles-i was confused why someone would trade such a new car in-brakes continue to wear down-ignition had to be replaced, car would just die going down the highway-car almost feels like brakes are being applied when i take my foot off of the gas-tires that i bought 1 year ago are wearing out- *tr

Please note, just spent $847.00 on this vehicle, brakes, serpentine belt ,rotors, thermostat. this vehcile has been a lemon since it was exported from canada as that where it was built!!! *tr

2005 chevy equinox, purchased new from dealer in summer 2005. front brake rotors have been vibrating excessively since about 15k miles. rotors have been replaced (which is way too early). ignition cylinder (where the key goes in and turns...) had to be replaced in the first 5k miles (took a week - dealer was unable to repair and had to get parts from somewhere else). front tires show excessive wear on outer edge, even after maintenance. two tires replaced ~30k miles due to tread being worn. experienced a blowout on the interstate (at highway speed) of another tire at around 40k miles. then replaced two other tires. *tr

Vehicle had alignment performed by dealer at appx 10k miles. rear alignment was either not addressed or is defective causing severe tire wear resulting in tire replacement and second alignment at 19k miles. *tr

Cd player broke, water soaking floor boards twice causing mold & mildew. complete loss of radiator fluid, loss of engine power while driving twice. unusual wear of tires. rubbing in steering column when turning, knocking sound when turning slowly to the right, a/c not cooling efficiently. *nm

Replaced tires on my 2005 chevrolet equinox with only 11,000 miles. prior to this, i had to get an alignment however, the tires still went bad. after i purchased my new set of tires, i went back to have them rotated after there recommended miles of 5,000 and the tires are wearing again. i had less than 18,000 miles on it this time around. i can not afford to keep replacing tires every 5,000 miles. the garage told me that they had replaced the tires on several more equinox that same day with just about the same amount of miles as mine. *nm
