Tl* the contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. while driving up a hill at 45 mph, the contact released the accelerator pedal and the vehicle began to accelerate on its own without warning. the contact depressed the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. once he stopped the vehicle, the vehicle resumed normal driving function. the dealer was not contacted. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the vehicle was out of warranty; therefore, the contact would be responsible for the repair costs. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the failure mileage was 80,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. while driving on an incline, the vehicle decelerated and accelerated without warning. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who test drove the vehicle and stated that the throttle body needed to be checked. the vehicle was taken to three different dealers, including phillips chevrolet (866-469-9000, located at 9700 w lincoln hwy, frankfort, il 60423). all three dealers were unable to diagnose the failure and stated that the vehicle was fine. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
