The plastic gear that runs the defroster broke and we can't see to drive the vehicle

The oils is leaking is this vehicle .. and how it was explained is that the oil is also leaking into the turbo .. which is causing oil to basically be pushed out instead of air being brought in for the car to go the correct speed and the car is undriveable

The locks keep locking & unlocking, sometimes after getting the feeling that the car was bumped, which it wasn't. lately it almost stalls then accelerates too quickly & makes a revving sound. i'm not driving it right now. the bumping & locks on & off happen while driving or while stopped.i can't give a date. it's been happening for couple of months. thank you

Went out and started car up. car was shaking and service stabilitrac and service traction control were on the dash screen. this happened back in december as well and then the car eventually stopped working altogether.

For some reason when i drive my car it starts shaking sometimes it happens when i start driving or when i brake i tried to find the problem and it looks that it is the drive shaft. i though that it is something that only happened to me but i found out that there are more cars involved in that but my chevy cruze 2013 looks like it is not not one of those. what can i do about it ?

Tire monitor system, i have had problems with this system ever since i purchased my car. every attempt to fix it has been unsuccessful. when the dealership resets it, it goes wonky and displays incorrect info about tire pressure and location of tire with that pressure. it recently showed that one of my tires had a no display reading and a "service tire monitor system" alert. and when i took it in for servicing, they told me its not covered by any warrenty (which i have the extended warrenty). this seems to me to be a safety issue as it is apparently important to the system to display it on my servicing screen (and affects my gas mileage that affects my emissions)! so why isn't it covered by the manufactures warrenty? why have it there at all then!?perhaps it is a job security thing just to bring in revenue. its b***s*** i think!!!

The chevy eco cruze has been giving me problems from the start. i was driving with the ac on and came to a signal light when the ac shuts of & comes back on. also at the signal light i thaught i had gotten a tap from the back from another vehicle because the car jerked. turned out no car behind me but car still jerks forward with foot all the way down on brake pedal. next if i'm driving and slow down to make, let's say a left hand turn once i make the turn the car is sluggish as if it has trouble picking up speed. happens all the time from a stopped position or if i slow down it takes for ever to pick up momentum. making it scarey to merge or just be on the road. also if i turn the radio up the lights will die or fade so i've replaced the alternator but it still does it. ive checked connections wires you name it.

I started that there was a part they fixed and i don't know what i it is called, but the black cap that is directly behind the area where you put the motor oil is where they said it was opened (it had a bubble or it has small part of the rubble had came up. so put a new one it. not dealership another well known garage machanic who has been in business over 25 years. i took it took auto advance and the said that they didn't finish sealing the gasket on this area. i don't what's going on with my thermostat either.

The vehicle has been going to anti theft mode and took it in they found coolant reservoir leaking thermostat leaking along with the drive belt has coolant on it causing it to squeak according to chevrolet car seems like when i'm driving it it feels like its moving fwd on it's on when i have my foot on brake at a complete stop. my car is at 143,000 miles on it

My vehicle repeatedly ran hot everytime i would drive it over a mile on the road. my husband changed the thermostat, always made sure it had coolant, checked my hoses, and replaced the water pump. but eventually it blew a head gasket. we noticed it did so when we seen water had mixed into the oil. supreme chevrolet replaced the engine at 96,000 miles in november 2016 under warranty. i drove the car about 54,000 miles with the replaced engine and it too started running hot everytime i would drive it about a mile down the road. the dash light would say turn a/c off and idle engine or turn off engine due to high temperature. we changed the radiator, the hoses, the water pump, and the thermostat on the car and it remained running hot with high temperatures until that engine too blew a head gasket.the dealership will not warranty the second engine although it only has 67,000 miles on the new engine. and now i am left with no vehicle and still owe $6700.00 on the chevrolet cruze due to the faulty coolant system.

Consumer complaint. noxious odor from heater. causes nasal discomfort and coughing forcing manual shutdown of heater. heater is outgassing a cloyingly sweet smell that is widely discussed in internet forums with no solution. *js

While driving in motion going down the highway at 65 mph car lost all power all of sudden, this also happened while sitting at a stop light total loss of power. this is serious it stalls in middle of the road and it may or maynot start back up.

The defrost doesn't work on the drivers side. when i turn the settings to defrost, the face vents turn on full power. ive tried all of the different settings (face, feet, face and feet, defrost and feet, etc) and the defrost wont work on any of them. this causes my window to fog up and ice over on the drivers side. while im driving! its not only annoying , it's extremely dangerous and unsafe when drivig during the winter months. there is nothing in the vents. i checked. i tried to take pictures to show how i have no visibility. it's alot worse in person.

Chevy cruze 1.8 liter manual transmission. 2013. had recall for high temp for catalytic converter. manufacturer reset computer as recall required. now, the catalytic converter has stopped working. engine light on.

The right front half shaft may fracture and separate while driving, potentially causing the vehicle to lose power and coast to a stop

Radiator leeking fluid car over heating. when cked said the problem was internal. then i have to pay for everthing that was caused by problem that was not under warranty. they want me 2 pay for hose and other things, almost $200. the problem started after i had an oil change at this location. my heater was not getting hot and when i cked no fluid n radiator. so i called the dealership, they didn't tell me that was not part of 24 points check until today. my complaint is we have 2 pay fohey. want 2 let u know i will not be there 2morrow morning. have 2 take my car 2 shop. depend on how long it take 2 fix. will get rental, but will not know till they ck it out. will give u a call when i find out.r everything that was caused by problem. if it is a recall problem everything that it take to repair should be cover. i am an caregive( cna) need my car for work inwhich i have missed 2 days because of this problem then still hqve 2 come out of my pocket. not sure if this problem have damaged my motor or not.

Defrost quit working..air blows out of all other vents but not defrost

Got into a very minor fender bender and the car went up in flames. air bags never deployed because i wasn't going fast enough. but yet my car burned.

My ignition key broke off during driving. the car was shut off and i could have died by hitting the railing. i called my local dealership and the service lady said she has seen this happen many times. the keys metal broke off. the keys are made of some kind of cheap metal. this is a safety hazzard. please help those on the road avoid a catastophy.

There is a defect in the reservoir that holds the coolant that makes it unable to breath. the coolant is bubbling inside the reservoir because it isn't able to release the pressure which in turn is making the cars overheat. the manufacture just sees this normal but there are many videos on the internet off people going through the same thing.

My first oil change after buying my car there was a problem taking the oil plug out. i took it to lake chevrolet in devils lake nd they put in a new plug. now when i had a oil change they detected a hairline crack i have a appointment today to fix this.

The car was parked. i started it and 2 minutes later i got 3 messages "engine power is reduced" "service traction control" "service stabili trak" and the engine light came on, it wouldn't go more than 5mph. so then i parked again, thank god i didn't even leave the parking lot of that building. so then i turned it off and let it rest for about 10 minutes and then started it back on and the messages disappeared and it was running "fine" the gas pedal felt a little hard when trying to accelerate. next day same thing but this time while i was on the high way, i use i-88 to go to work every day and this is very dangerous, going from 65-70 mph to 10 mph and if someone would've been behind me they could've hit me. this is very scary and sometimes i work late shifts and with this cold weather having to turn the engine off for it to "run" again is horrible. i was freezing to death. i have read hundreds of comments from people who have had the same problem and same codes, and i think gm should have a recall for this, because it's a manufacturer problem and they should fix it. today i am taking it to a chevy dealer and see what happens. hopefully this helps to have enough proof of this issue.

Hi there, i purchased a cruze 3.5 years ago in canada because i am a canadian citizen. i have moved to the usa (nj) to live with my wife. she is a us citizen. we have contacted gm about getting a letter of conformity which they did supply us with. however, it does not conform to fmvss standards. the letter does not include which standards are not met and gm does not have record of what doesn't comply. i would like to get my car imported to the usa but without that information, i don't know what needs to be fixed. i have contacted several ri's throughout ny, 1 in nj and 1 in pa and none of them are willing to do the work (i assume that because they don't get back to me on scheduling it in). please help me find out what needs to be fixed on my car so i can import it to the usa and register it here. thank you! the car is us epa certified, and cmvss certified (with stamps). i entered the usa on a temporary driving basis for 1 year.

Owner drives the vehicle for 10 miles or greater and after parking for several minutes the vehicle has a burning smell inside. it remains for days at a time even if the vehicle has not been driven. this has occurred since ownership. second problem; brakes lock up after the car is washed and parked for a few minutes. remedy is to step on the accelerator with the vehicle in gear (drive or reverse) and prepare to brake immediately. it took 1000 rpm's to get the brakes released this time. it happens each time the car is washed in a stationary position. mileage is 27,000.

I noticed my car was "sputtering". after multiple attempts trying to find out what was wrong with no attempts all it did was get worse. it felt like my car was suffocating. it got to the point where it was chugging the whole way home from my employment. opened the hood while it was running and it appeared a spark plug was arching. after removing the coil pack to get to the spark plugs one of the boots completely fell apart while trying to remove it. it was then the coils were looked at, 3 out of 4 were corrosion and so we're there casings. the whole section now needs to be replaced on a car with less than 80,000 miles.

Less than 2 months after the warranty expired the window regulator center piece on the drivers side broke when using the power window control to roll the window back up. this vehicle has no circumstances that would cause this part to fail besides it being a faulty part. the window is stuck in the down position and the part has to be ordered from out of state. the repair cost is in excess of $300 which i should be reimbursed for. the vehicle was stationary at a drive through window at the time of failure.

The turbo started giving problems at under 40,000 miles light came on on the highway

About a year after buying my 2013 chevy cruze the driver side window fell down and out of the track. we took it to the dealer and they repaired it under warrannty. now my cruze is 3 years and 2 months old with 21,000 miles on it and the passenger window has done the same thing. my warranty ran out 2 months ago even thought there are only 21,000 miles on it i have to pay for the repair. both times this happened we were getting in the vehicle and closed the door, rolled down the window and the window fell to the bottom of the door and wont go up.

Air conditioning is not working correctly. it blows well but will not cool. i can feel some coolness out of passenger side but driver side is hot air. if you turn the fan knob to low then both sides will cool but it is not enough to cool anything. have had it checked and there is plenty of coolant. it started july of 2016 so i drove it very little it is much worse this summer july of 2017. its the same result driving or stationary. in the early morning if it's cool outside it does get cooler but as the day gets warmer so does the air coming out of the air conditioning vents.

2013 cevy cruze receiving "service side detection system" message when taken to dealership was informed that due to faulty module design water gets into module ans side detection system will no longer worked due to the fact car was just out of warranty was quoted $700+ to fix.

The computer system goes on and off at random, which causes malfunctions in other areas, particularly the power steering and security system. my power steering has gone out multiples times, causing near accidents. the security system also locked up due to the computer, and it took 15 minutes to get it started in the arizona heat. the power steering issue is incredibly dangerous.

Engine overheated. tech found cooling fan not coming on. tech found cooling fan connector melted. tech used power probe to send 12 volts to cooling fan motor. blew the circuit breaker in the probe. motor faulty. tech suggest new cooling fan motor & pigtail assembly to repair. the above description is word for word from the repair invoice. the repair shop also told us this was a pretty serious defect and could have caused the vehicle to catch on fire.

Very strong odor of coolant inside the car, brought it in to the dealer and they have replaced the water pump, heater core, did a pressure test on the coolant system and did a scab job of running a hose from my reservoir tank to under the car. i'm still getting coolant vapors into the car. dex-cool has a safety warning about breathing antifreeze vapors. inhalation: avoid breathing vapors or mists. higher temperatures may generate vapor levels sufficient to cause adverse effects.

I have been having an issue with my vehicle on and off. it seems to be happening more often now. when i shift my vehicle into park and turn off my car using the push to start button, a message on the dashboard shows up that says "shift to park" even though i already shifted it to park. i have tried restarting it and trying to get the message to disappear trying to see if the emergency break was the issue. i believe this has something to do with the gear shifter and am afraid that this could create a safety concern the longer it continues because my dashboard seems to be displaying an inaccurate message. i tried to search for recalls on my vehicle but did not find any for this issue; however, i found a recall on the 2014 chevrolet cruze (recall# 14048) that seems to be a similar issue that i am experiencing with my vehicle which is the same make and model but just a year older. i have also found plenty of complaints online from other 2013 cruze owners and believe that the recall should apply to the 2013 model as well.

My daughters chevy cruise power steering light came on and it became difficult for it to steer. she turned it off and it worked fine. she made appointment at day chevrolet in monroeville and they could not find a problem. also, they said that they had never heard of such a problem. after she left it happened again. we googled the problem and found it has happened a lot of times what should we do? i don't want my daughter in an accident and injured or killedto

Heater has a very strong odor of coolant when turned on that i have to keep my car windows down a little when using heater. i noticed this when i acquired it from my son in july of 2016. he had purchased this one and another one at the same time brand new in 2013 and had this problem with both cars.

When starting my car from any stationary position, 0 mph (flat parking, on a hill or at an angle) the starter will engage and continue to run and run without starting the engine. in order to start the car, i have to turn off the ignition and try again. the second time the car will start (so far). also, when i use the air conditioner (car in motion, any speed 0-65mph, on city streets and on highways) there is a coolant smell that comes out or the vents. it is a strong smell and i cannot figure out a pattern for when it happens. it happens when i have the car running, sometimes when i first turn on the air conditioner and them it will happen randomly as i am driving and the air conditioner has been on for a while. i have never tried to see if it happens when i don't have the engine running (don't know if the air conditioner can run without the engine running).
