Overwhelming fuel odor after shutting car off and housing it in the garage or outside. especially noticeable in summer when ethanol is added to fuel - heavy smell of nail polish remover inside and outside the car. fuel vapor leak from gas tank requires $2,678.87 repair. fuel vapor buildup inside the vehicle and/or garage and house are a fire hazard as well as a health hazard. other owners have complained of similar problem on the corvette forum. chevrolet needs to recall and replace this component on all c6 corvettes. *bf *tr
