Problems with 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier AIR BAGS

Tl* the contact owns a 2000 chevrolet cavalier. the contact stated that while driving approximately 50 mph, the driver crashed into a tree. the air bags failed to deploy. the driver was killed. a police report was filed of the incident. the vehicle was towed to an impound lot. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the vehicle was destroyed. the approximate failure and current mileage was 130,000. *tr

I was driving down the road and a large pick up truck pulled out in front of me and i smashed into the side of the truck and neither the driver or passenger airbags deployed. i was going approximately 45 mph on impact. *tr

My daughter was driving the 2000 cavaleir from church to her college when she stopped at a stop sign and looked left and then right and proceeded through the intersection and failed to see a chrysler minivan coming from her left.. she braked and the minivan t-boned her car on the left side and her car proceeded to turn 90 degrees to the right for 20 feet and stopped. the most damage occured on the passenger door, to the front tire was pushed in...the whole steering wheel assembly was pushed forward. the front passenger was severely injured with severe head trauma and skull fracture.she is presently in a coma. the driver of the vehicle had a concussion,severe lacerations on the back of her head , and bruising on her arms and legs. the third passenger in the rear drivers side had minor injuries.

My wife bought a 2000 chev. cavalier from sound mazda inrenton a year ago in 2004, the car did not passed emission test, we took it to the mechanic and he informed us that the catalityc converter was not working, the o2 censor was bad and it would be pricy, we took it to a dealership and were going to trade it in, the manager of the dealership pulled a carfax report and he asked us if the dealership had informed us that in 2002 the car was in a wreck and the airbags were deployed, we told him no, when she bought the car none of this was informed to us. we believe that it is unfair for the dealership to not inform us about this, specially because the airbags don't work in the car and they still sold it to us like that.

A deer ran in front of the consumer while driving, consumer was unable to maintain control of the vehicle, and hit a tree. upon impact, both frontal airbags did not deploy. no injuries reported. vehicle was towed and totaled by the insurance company.*ak

While driving 25 mph the driver hit a pot hole which caused both frontal air bags to deploy. the driver was not hurt. the driver had the vehicle towed to the dealer for inspection. the mechanic could not determined a cause at this time. please provide any additional information. *nm

On 8/21/03 i was involed in a accident where my car rolled and the car intially hit front end first and neither driver nor passenger air bags did not deployed. *ak
