Dash has cracked in 2 places near the passenger air bag and in one place above the instrument housing. checking online forums identifies that this is a common issue with chevrolet dashes. this creates a safety hazard in the event of a collision as these pieces could become projectiles. at this point chevrolet is not offering to fix the issue.

My dashboard cracked like many others have done. driving down the road it just started cracking and a week later it had created a large crack over the instrument panel about 9 inches in length
My dashboard on the drivers side has begun to develop a crack. it appears to be getting larger as time goes on. it developed out of no where.

The dashboard has developed two very significant cracks one concerns me because it is located where the passenger airbag deploys. the crack has left a very sharp edge next to the air bag and i am concerned if the bag deploys this edge could cut the airbag.
Center of dash is not sturdy enough caused a crack from center dash air vent corner on passenger side corner to the air bag.
