High speed car accident on 1/3/07 driver seat belt did not work correctly, belt did not lock upon hard braking or upon car crash i hit my chest on steering wheel and my knees on dashboard, my airbag did not deploy either. *jb
The brakes made a squealing noise, and was replaced. after they were replaced, the brakes locked up which resulted in an accident. *jb when the brakes locked, the vehicle ran into a snowbank. on the second occasion, the brakes locked and slid into the person in front. the vehicle was rear ended and the air bags did not deploy and the seat belts were inoperative. the consumer requested money back. *scc
The consumer states that when the seat belts are pulled all the way out, they will not lock. the seat belts will not restraint child car seats. *ak *scc
Buckles of rear seats on the vehicle are about 6-7 inches from the seat, when child is seating, buckle is up to chest or around stomach area. contacted dealer, and the dealer is not willing to do anything with the vehicle.*ak
Consumer states that the back bench seat belts are too long, when the seat belts are put on, they lay off of the childrens rib cages near their sides, the seat belts do not fit children or adults correctly, they were replaced with shorter belts, but they are still too long, dealer stated that they would move the bolts back to make them shorter, however later stated they could not due to liability reasons. *slc
