-i was traveling south on fm , miles north of miami, tx when a deer ran out in front of me. i struck it front center and onstar immediately called for emergency services. first thing i noticed was one of the air bags deployed and after pulling of the road
While driving on the highway, the stabilitrak and check engine warning indicator lights come on. next a warning reads, "engine running at reduced power" and the car slows down. when i cut the car off and restart, the warning indicator lights reset and the car will drive normal.
I've been having the same problem as another driver with the exact same situation. it seems like we're both having the same problem, and we're both being ignored. when accelerating, car lunges forward and kicks back when transmission is changing gears at relatively low speed. car has been brought to dealer (patrick cadillac in schaumburg, il) numerous times but dealer claims it is a normal condition. when pressed the service manger admitted it is normal but on the extreme side but refuses to remedy the situation. i believe the car is unsafe and should be repaired. gm corporate has been has been contacted on numerous occasions and is uncooperative and refuses to return any communication. when one pays the money to buy a luxury vehicle, one expects problems to be taken seriously and repaired.
