On may 12, 2018, we were driving west on maryland interstate 68 through the mountains. we were driving downward on one of the many mountains and i noticed a wobble coming from the front passenger wheel. i began to worry and slowed down from 70 mph to 50 mph. as i approached the bottom of the mountain there was a curve to the left. all of the sudden we lost control like we were on ice. we turned 360 degrees and slammed into the right berm guard rail and then proceeded to travel back across the two land highway and hit the left median guardrail and came to a stop. there were three of us in the car and fortunately only minor injuries. we observed that the axle at the front passenger side wheel had sheered off. i couldn't believe it! also. the side air bags did not deploy when the passenger side slammed into the guard rail. *tr
