I have had my car 6 years and it has been in the shop over and over from the engine lights ,stabilize bar, power steering, transmission problem, anti lock brake and traction control light, security light, catalytic convertor, would not start, remote not detected, sunroof leaks, oil leak, seat belt, brakes problem, gas mile not accurate,
Hit head on by truck going approx. 45 mph that swerved into my center turn lane. front end demolished - car was totaled - but air bags did not deploy. seat belt did not lock on impact. side of my head hit driver's window or frame - was catapulted forward and caught in seat belt when it pulled out all the way, resulting in horrific and painful chest, abdomen and left leg injuries (soft tissue).
Tl* the contact owns a 2010 cadillac srx. the contact was driving approximately 2 mph when he applied the brakes, the vehicle surged forward until crashing into another vehicle. the contact suffered injuries and was undergoing physical therapy for treatment. the vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop, but they were unable to duplicate the failure. the vehicle was repaired for the body damages. the contact also stated that the failure occurred on a few occasions prior to the crash. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but had not responded. the failure mileage was 5,700. updated 6/25/12 *cn the consumer also stated the seat failed to properly restrain him. updated 06/29/12
Tl* the contact owns a 2010 cadillac srx. the contact stated that on two separate occasions while attempting to park with the brakes depressed, the vehicle abnormally accelerated and caused the contact to crash into two parked vehicles. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to the dealer who performed a diagnostic and was unable to locate a failure code. the vehicle was also test driven but the failure did not recreate. the front end of the vehicle was repaired. the failure mileage was 4,000 and the current mileage was 57,000. the consumer also stated the seat belt didn't hold him in place. updated 08/12/11. *jb
